The holidays are right around the corner and we have put together a dozen prep-it-and-forget-it roast recipes sure to get you through the BUSIEST time of year. A couple things you should keep in mind when buying, preparing and cooking roasts:

  • Buying Tips – The flatter the roast the leaner the roast. And always be sure to pick a reddish colored roast!
  • Preparing Tips – Let your roast sit at room temperature 30 -45 minutes before cooking. This will help set the seasonings.
  • Cooking Tips – Remember, a roast will continue to cook up to 20 minutes after being removed from the oven. So, if you don’t want an overcooked roast, remove it from the oven a little early.

Check out a few of our favorite recipes:

Hi Donald, I’m so sorry to hear that you were having difficulty. Albertsons stores in Boise, Idaho are actually part of a separate company, Supervalu. I’m sure they’ll want to hear about the difficulty you’ve had as well so I’d encourage you to call Customer Service by phone: 1-877-932-7948 or online at http://www.albertsons.com/tools/customer-service.html. I hope that helps Donald. ~Jana
