i have spent 2 hours trying to find where to enter sweepstakes entry and as a senior i find this very anoying! i have gone out of my way to pbuy the groceries at albertsons and enter the game pcs and it is not something i find worth my while!

I am sorry to say that I am extremely disappointed with the monopoly game. It makes me think that it is a big scam, either by Albertson’s or by each individual store. I received 260 game pieces in one transaction, and they were all repeats. One can tell what pieces will be inside without opening the game ticket, by looking at the picture on the outside. I used to think, “well, if I don’t win anything, I can at least win something instantly or get a “$10 off with $100 purchase” coupon, but I have yet to receive any. I also noticed that there is a code printed on every coupon, but it is also printed on the outside of the game ticket. Seems like employees already know which game tickets have the winning pieces inside, to include the good coupons.

    • Jana 06/05/2013 at 7:31 pm

Hi Denise, I’m sorry to hear that you’re disappointed, however, please know that the images on the backs of the Monopoly Collect & Win game tickets are completely random and do not indicate which piece, code, or instant prize is inside. So, please open them to double check! ~Jana

  3. michele suomala 03/05/2013 at 4:15 pm

received 2 tickets saying I won something and to enter the code to see what it was and enter for sweepstakes. 1st one worked 2nd one said I was not a winner.

  4. Kenneth R Mitchell 10/05/2013 at 6:46 pm

Dear sirs I won a $5000.00 prize on 4/30/13. I submitted the forms on that day at store # 4150 in Lake Worth, Tx. My question when will I recive my money,I am 70 years old living on a fixed income. Thank you for any help you can give me.

    • Jana 22/05/2013 at 5:31 pm

Hi Kenneth, CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for checking in on your prize. I have confirmed with the company that administers the game that the check was processed on 5/17. Please keep in mind that, per the Official Rules for the Monopoly Collect & Win game, prize winnings will be paid within 60 days of verification. I hope this helps but if you have any additional questions please feel free to email me at social@albertsonsllc.com. Thanks and congrats again! ~Jana

  5. Dan 14/05/2013 at 2:47 pm

I have observed that Albertson’s Monopoly consumes the time of consumers with little reward other than to frustrate people and make them feel like losers and get angry at the Corporation. Then there is the background question of why would a store spend their own time and money to create this farce when reducing the cost of basic food items would benefit it’s clients, and save them their precious time?

  6. Denisse 21/05/2013 at 4:56 pm

    Jana, I beg to differ, but the images on the back of the game tickets DO indicate which game pieces are inside. For example, the one with the Tide has game pieces 671P 639H 601A 691U;
    Doritos has 656L 604A 677Q 669O
    Twizzlers 646J 607A 685S 665N
    Orange Gatorade 650K 625E 656L 684S
    Activia 4pk 626E 630F 659M 681R
    so on and so forth.
As mentioned on my previous comment, when I received over 260 game tickets I sorted them according to the image on the back just for fun. Of course, when I opened all the ones with the same image, I realized the inside pieces were all the same.
Yes, indeed, the inside coupon is different regardless of the image outside. I was just pointing out the fact that the code on the inside of the coupon, code, or offer matches the code on the back of the game piece as well. I wondered if by entering such code on your system, one can tell what kind of offer will be in the inside of the game ticket.

  7. ESTELA 05/06/2013 at 3:40 pm

I was unable to play my game pieces…is your monopoly game over….I cannot find the “game link” on your website…
    thank you,

    Estela Tellez-Ambrose

  8. Bevely Hughes 05/06/2013 at 6:31 pm

The sweepstakes entry ticket says to click on game link. I have yet to find one. This entire game is a scam.

  9. Maria 12/07/2013 at 8:12 pm

I know for sure that this game is not a scam. I am one of the winners of $10,000 and I was completely shock when I got a call from Alberston’s stores. I couldn’t believe it. I thought that it wasn’t true so I went to the store to verify if it was true and yes it was real. The store director already had all my info and congratulated and told me that it was completely real. So I won 10,000 in the monopoly game by entering the codes for the sweepstakes.

  10. Gilbert Ortiz 10/08/2013 at 3:48 am

I for one will never again shop at your stores anywhere in the U.S. !!! All of your potential customers would greatly appreciate if you would break up the grand prize to 10-$100,000 winners or 20-$50,000……winners. I have better odds at the local casino !!!

    • Customer Care Customer Care 11/08/2013 at 9:52 pm

Thanks for the feedback on the Monopoly Collect and Win Game, Gilbert. I will share it with our teams for future promotional consideration. ~Marie

  11. Raleigh 05/01/2014 at 1:04 pm

Has anyone actually won the million dollar cash prize from the beginning of albertsons monopoly to now yet? What I would like to see as a prize is a MacBook Pro with retina display 15″ inch. Please respond and do this for us.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 1:12 pm

Yes, we had one winner of the Million Dollar Prize so far, Raleigh. I have submitted your idea for having a MacBook Pro with 15″ inch retina display as a prize idea for future sweepstakes. Thank you and have a great week! ~Marie

  14. Lisa 17/02/2014 at 7:16 pm

Very disappointed in the game this year. Especially the number of codes rather than coupons. The coupons were of value, the codes aren’t. The coupons only have given me game tickets and wasted ink and paper. Phooey on your game. It’s more trouble that it’s worth.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 18/02/2014 at 6:16 am

Sorry to hear of your disappointment in the game this year, Lisa. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on the Monopoly game. I’ve made sure to share your comments with our marketing team. Have a good day! ~Cindy

  15. Loreen Rickert 18/02/2014 at 6:32 pm

I have not won anything yet…BUT am having fun trying! We shop anyway, so we are not out one thing! Congratulation to those who have won. Keep up the promotions Albertsons. Keeps our humdrum chores like grocery shopping just a little more exciting!

  16. ann 19/02/2014 at 4:33 pm

wow i won 500,000 dream home

  17. Christiana Jackson 20/02/2014 at 2:21 pm

Hello I am having trouble on website. I don’t understand how to obtain my 12 digit code, please reply. Thanking you in advance. Christiana Jackson. Email address chrisxjackson@hotmail.com (I just registered today.)

    • Customer Care Customer Care 23/02/2014 at 11:38 am

Great question, Christiana! The 12 digit code should be on the game tickets you receive at the store. When you open the ticket, one side will have the markers for the game board and the other side will have an Online Game Code, Instant Winner, or other offer. I hope that helps! ~Marie

  18. Vauna MIles 20/02/2014 at 6:17 pm

I received one online game code that came up and read that I had a winning number. I was given instructions to DOWNLOAD, I could not find any way to download and now it is all lost. What is the problem?

  19. cheryl 21/02/2014 at 7:50 pm

great game I’ve not won anything but …….ya never know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  20. Eldridge Cherry 22/02/2014 at 9:50 pm

  21. SAUDI 24/02/2014 at 6:28 pm

If anyone wants to trade pieces for ones they need I have over 300 and counting and I am really close to winning a few prizes. please email me if you would like to talk about the ones you need and see if you have some i need. saudi_robey@yahoo.com

  22. Toni 28/02/2014 at 10:25 am

hello my concern is that I read on the internet that there are only a hand full of winning tickets made and there is no guarantees that the tickets will be handed out in your state so you may only have a chance to win free game tickets they said only a hand full of winning tickets were made for all 200 stores across the nation. I dont think thats fare..and I also wondered if peoples family that works at albertsons is aloud to play the game and when people do win do you check to see if they have family that work at an albertsons. thank you

  23. sue 28/02/2014 at 3:46 pm

Hello, looking back over the winners that have won this year and the years before seems to me that New Mexico and Texas were and still are the winning states as far as prizes…some employees sending tickets to each other. could be makes you think…..

  24. sue 28/02/2014 at 3:49 pm

yes i would like to do that with you saudi email me at the address above

  25. maria galvan 02/03/2014 at 3:17 pm

I tried to enter my codes online with the game pieces I got frm the store but i could not find any game link. this is very frustrating and a waste of my time. i have like ten game pieces that are suppost to be entered online. now what do i do with them? this is a big scam.

  26. donald taylor 05/03/2014 at 7:14 pm

Hi, I play monopoly every chance I get. I am happy with this game so far. I only need one or two pieces minimum and Im getting excited. I just want to know what I won. I entered a code online from the inside of one of the folded pieces and it says I am a Instant winner. Well what did I win?

    • Customer Care Customer Care 06/03/2014 at 11:32 am

I’m glad you’re enjoying the game, Donald! If you are an Instant Winner in our Online Game, then you should have been sent an email with a prize verification form, letting you know what you won and how to claim the prize. If you did not receive the email, please email me at AlbertsonsHelprs@albertsons.com so we can do some research. Thank you. ~Marie

How do I know what is the prize left ?

    Thanks,

    • Customer Care Customer Care 08/03/2014 at 1:13 pm

Hello, Hassan. Unfortunately there isn’t any way to check which prizes have been claimed and which ones are left, but we do announce some winnings on our Facebook and Blog. Stay tuned! ~Wayne

  28. Thomas 08/03/2014 at 5:23 pm

Can’t seem to get on the game link
In fact can’t even find game link

  29. Tamie McCulley 10/03/2014 at 5:16 pm

I find it very frustrating that I get the same thing every time I open the tabs, and the codes are never a winner we spend alot of money at Albertsons and choose this store over Krogers

  30. Betsy 10/03/2014 at 8:06 pm

Even though I don’t win, I look forward to this game every year you put it out. As a working mom on a budget, it takes a monotonous chore and adds a splash of color. There’s nothing wrong with adding a little hope here and there.

  31. Fran 12/03/2014 at 1:10 pm

Is there a way for those of us who do not use social media to view the list of winners so far?

    • Customer Care Customer Care 12/03/2014 at 4:28 pm

There sure is, Fran. The names of the Major Prize winners with $600 value or greater may be obtained at the conclusion of the promotion by sending a request via mail. Please see the Official Rules or you may email us at AlbertsonsHelprs@albertsons.com if you’d like us to provide you with the mailing address. I hope you have a great rest of the day. ~Shasta

  32. Kathy Buford 18/03/2014 at 5:03 pm

I just entered the codes for 13 on-line tickets. Long codes to enter and nothing won, not even a free ticket. A major time waster.

Why does Albertsons even participate in this? Save the advertising money and reduce prices of goods that you sell. In this way everybody wins.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 19/03/2014 at 3:03 pm

I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t had the best of luck with those online codes, Kathy. Not every ticket is a winner, but many of our customers love the chance they have to become a winner! We appreciate your feedback, and thank you for playing! ~Zachary

  33. eileen-wagner@att.net 19/03/2014 at 10:58 pm

It says you have 1 one million dollar winner
December 2014 and it is not even October
yet. What are you talking about.?

I too, get nothing but duplicates. What a
    fass.
    What does 19/03/2014 mean above?

    • Customer Care Customer Care 20/03/2014 at 12:37 pm

Sorry for the confusion, Eileen. Our blog uses the Day/Month/Year format. The comment regarding the 1 Million Dollar Prize winner was made on January 12, 2014 and the 19/03/2014 is actually March 19th, 2014. I hope that clears up the confusion. There’s still lots of time to play and many prizes to still win! Good luck! ~Marie

  34. ursula 21/03/2014 at 9:42 am

Sorry for all the people who complain and fuss about this game being a scam. I am surprised but know I shouldn’t be of some pessimistic comments. Dong Dong…Don’t we all go shopping for our groceries. We shop there all the time, this is just a little extra lagniappe and a fun way to entertain ourselves. My 7 year old and I have fun and of course we hope for a win, but just like the lottery, know that the odds are small but the possibility is there. It just doesn’t cost you any extra to receive a chance to win. Keep it up Albertsons, you are putting smiles on our faces for sure. It’s like opening a bunch of presents :-))

  35. estella 24/03/2014 at 6:52 pm

I finally found the link, I entered many ticket codes and finally won something , keep trying.

  36. Dan 27/03/2014 at 5:48 pm

I’m disappointed on two things per the rules I read sure seems like Albertsons will have to pay out a lot less than “55 Million” in prizes. Second using a lot of very expensive printer ink to get those 2 extra game pieces you win a lot(nice way to get us back in the store).

    • Customer Care Customer Care 27/03/2014 at 7:30 pm

We regret your disappointment, Dan. I have forwarded your comments about the Monopoly Game on to our Marketing Team. I hope you have a nice evening. ~Shasta

  37. Lisa 27/03/2014 at 7:46 pm

I too am disappointed feel like this game is a scam, as many times as I shop and get the tickets they have all been repeats, and the more Instant Bonus Tickets I get the more I see that they are repeats of what I already have, I believe winning tickets we need in California are in Texas and the tickets they need to win are here…..I can’t keep buying food that I cannot eat, or do not need just to get a Monopoly game piece.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 29/03/2014 at 7:40 am

Good morning, Lisa. I’m sorry to hear of your recent disappointment with the Monopoly game. All of the game pieces are in circulation. There is only one rare game piece per prize that we are giving away so that makes them pretty hard to come by. Best of luck to you with your future tickets! ~Wayne

  38. Jessica Treganowan 28/03/2014 at 1:04 am

I just don’t understand why so many people are taking the time to write how disappointed they are that they have not won . It is a game , play the game or don’t, simple as that! If you do not win anything then big deal , be happy for those who have . It always amazes me what people will complain about , I hope you are not raising your children to be so ungrateful .

  39. Shelly 29/03/2014 at 5:00 pm

I am skeptical about the monopoly game now as well because I saw Denise’s comment about the pictures on the back correlating to the tickets inside. I didn’t think that could be possible because it is ”completely random” according to Jana so I decided to check and sure enough every ticket I received (out of 54 tickets) I matched them together (I had 15 pictures that I had more than one of) and every single one that had the same picture had the exact same 4 tickets in the exact same order. That’s ridiculous. This doesn’t seem right to me and if the game is to be fair Albertsons needs to make it completely random.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 30/03/2014 at 4:38 am

Hi, Shelly. I understand where you’re coming from. I will be sure to forward your observations to the Monopoly Support Team for review. Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your concerns. ~Stephanie

  40. ALLY SAHADI 30/03/2014 at 8:10 pm

do my codes go into a drawing.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 30/03/2014 at 10:16 pm

Hey there, Ally. The online codes are for the following prizes: gift cards $25-$500, 2 free game tickets, or a Redbox DVD rental. If you’re a winner you’ll receive a message telling you at the time of entry. For more info, please visit https://albertsons.playmonopoly.us . Have a good night! ~Cindy

  41. Rebecca 31/03/2014 at 1:11 pm

I agree with Ursula’s and Jessica’s comments above! This game is a lottery of sorts, folks..of course there won’t be many winners of big ticket items! If you didn’t know that already, you didn’t read the Monopoly game board and how many of each prize will be awarded. You get tickets, you have a chance to win..but that chance is very small..you should understand that if you have read your odds of winning each prize. There will always be people that like to gripe and complain but I for one would like to THANK Albertson’s for making grocery shopping fun with their different promotions..between the Rachel Ray giveaway and the Monopoly game, and any others I have missed out on. Not many grocers do this, not in my experience anyways, so I appreciate even a chance to win!
By the way, to those skeptical of entering codes, I have won at least 6 different times while entering codes from my game tickets. Even though the winning is just “2 free tickets”, that is two tickets that I don’t have to spend more money on to have a chance at winning!

  42. Marilyn 01/04/2014 at 3:32 pm

I agree with many of the other comments: Too many codes and not enough coupons, big time waster entering the codes, not as much fun as the past, and, while the employees are very good about giving out the tickets and asking if the customer is playing, it is a time waster for them as well.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 02/04/2014 at 8:48 am

I’m very sorry to hear that you have been disappointed with the Monopoly Game promotion this year, Marilyn. I want to assure you that we really value customer comments and keep them in mind. This is definitely good feedback and will help us to make promotions like this more enjoyable and exciting for our customers in the future. If you have any other comments or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Thank you for being an Albertsons customer and I really hope you have a great rest of your day. ~Kimberly

  43. Ciara 01/04/2014 at 10:42 pm

I was wondering if there will be any updates posted on the prizes that have been won so far? I noticed there were a few posted last year, && was looking to see about how many of the prizes have been claimed so far for 2014!

  44. mark 01/04/2014 at 11:40 pm

i received a ticket that was funny usually board pieces start with a alphabet letter followed by 3 number well this particular ticket has three numbers followed by a letter, which is not on the board?strange? i’m taking a photo of it and a copy and will be taking it in to the store to ask about this.i’m betting they try to take it from me,good luck with that.i have played over 500 game pieces and have only won more tickets or a free red box movie, but i have hundreds of thee same board pieces,i have spent $400+ a month since it started and don’t win anything worth while.OH and i just sat for 2 hours and manually entered the codes, yipeee more free game tickets.I GIVE UP.LMFAO

  45. Stacy 08/04/2014 at 10:06 am

I agree with Denisse. All the pictures on the outside coincide with the game pieces. I had more than 30 of them that all fell into 8 different duplicates. All duplicates had the same picture outside. I spend over $200 a week at the stores and have won nothing…don;t even get me started on the stupid two free game pieces because that is not winning anything. Last time, you got coupons for free french bread, bagels, donuts, candy bars, sodas, etc. but this time it’s total BS, not to mention it is going to last forever and that one missing million dollar piece won’t get shipped to stores until the last week of the game. What fun would it be to shop knowing the biggest prize is already claimed?

    • Customer Care Customer Care 08/04/2014 at 1:04 pm

  46. Tasha 15/04/2014 at 8:46 pm

I wanted to know why in the code history does it show some of my winning tickets highlighted in green and the other winning tickets not… Plus it says to hold on to them until the promotion is over but then you can’t redeem the 2 free tickets if it’s over. So I’m a little confused on that. Besides that I’ve been playing since it started and have probably received over 500 tickets and haven’t one nothing yet but 2 free tickets

  47. Anna 16/04/2014 at 8:12 am

I shop at two different Albertsons, the one in Santa Fe and the one in Albuquerque located on Montgomery. I notice at the one in Albuquerque (I get 20 game pieces or more per transaction), I each game piece has a different product pictured on it and they come without disruption in sequence. However at the Santa Fe location the pieces that I receive have a select picture and I never get what the receipt says I should get and I have to argue with the cashiers every time. Also at the Santa Fe location I do not get the “2 Free when I turn in the instant winners. I always have to argue this with the cashier. For instance I shopped last night and was shorted 4 game pieces from what the receipt said and she did not give me any game pieces for the 3 instant winners that I handed her. The Alburquerque store does not give me these problems but I live in Santa Fe.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 16/04/2014 at 12:30 pm

I’m sorry you’re not getting the same level of treatment at your store in Santa Fe as the store on Montgomery in Albuquerque, Anna. I’d like to see what we can do to improve the service at your Santa Fe store, so could you please email me at AlbertsonsHelprs@albertsons.com with the store location and best way to contact you? Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. ~Marie

  48. Richard Dennison 18/04/2014 at 2:08 pm

It is a partial scam, but it’s not what is documented by any complaints on this site. The control of the prize tickets originates with the cash register receipts. If the receipt indicates 1 game piece to be awarded, then deduct 1 game piece from the inventory supplied to the store. Easy, clean and basically controllable, right? But note that every cashier asks any customer if they play the monopoly game. If the customer says no (and many customers do not bother to play) the cashier is free to pocket those “unused” tickets for themselves. I personally know of 2 employees who have won prizes. The contest rules say employees are ineligible to win anything but it is an easy matter to give the winning prizes to a friend. So, no control violation and not really illegal (though very unethical) so who loses … all the customers that play the game get their odds of winning significantly reduced. Who wins … the Albertsons employees. Another way good old American ingenuity beats the system. A few of you may get lucky, but for the rest of us (unless you’re a Albertsons employee) don’t waste your time.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 21/04/2014 at 2:24 pm

Thank you for bringing your concerns about the Monopoly Collect and Win Game to our attention, Richard. We actually do have a separate Associate Game for our hard-working associates to play and win prizes. They have their own tickets (they should be green), prize pool, and odds of winning. Their game is completely separate from the Customer Game and associates should not be playing the Customer Game. If you have reason to believe that our associates are winning prizes from the Customer Game, please email me at AlbertsonsHelprs@albertsons.com with any details you would like to share. I have shared your additional comments with our Marketing Team for review. Thank you for posting and I hope you have a good rest of your week. ~Marie

It seems that I have ALL the pieces except the rare ones (as posted elsewhere on line). Having read the related blogs I feel foolish for having got so excited about playing the game and wasting time on it. Worse I have shopped at Albertsons since the start of the game instead of going to my local Vons. I went back to Vons last week after the Albertson’s cashier only gave me 2 game cards after spending $60. It was SO nice to be back at Vons, and cheaper!!

Sorry to hear of your disappointment, Carey. Please be assured that we take all feedback seriously and will make our Marketing Department aware of your comments. The number of Monopoly tickets earned is not based on the amount spent per transaction, but on the items purchased. You’ll earn one ticket for each transaction, one for each bonus ticket item purchased and then when you buy 10 bonus ticket items you earn an additional ticket. For more details on how to earn tickets and the odds of winning, please see the Official Rules at https://albertsons.playmonopoly.us/view/rules – Thank you for taking the time to stop by and share your concerns. I hope you have a good rest of your day. ~Kimberly

I find it really odd that most everyone who wins seems to live in New Mexico or Texas. Las Vegas is a big place and I would think there might be a few winners. I for one, have given up collecting the pieces. For the past month, all I get is the same ones over and over again.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 21/04/2014 at 2:42 pm

Hi Pat! I noticed that you’re posting under our Winner’s Circle post from April 2013, where the game was only played in our stores in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Please go to http://www.albertsons.com/2014/04/monopoly-winning-continues/ for the most recent list of winners, which includes Lynn B. and Juana T. from Las Vegas, NV. Thanks for playing! Have fun and good luck! ~Marie

HI Karen I am from LAS VEGAS and I won 2, 2 Free Game Tickets per the game pieces – I just have no clue what kind of GAME tickets they are, has anyone else obtained any of these free game tickets prizes? WHAT KIND OF Games>???

    • Customer Care Customer Care 21/04/2014 at 5:24 pm

Hello, Daniela. The 2 free game tickets prize is to obtain more Monopoly Game tickets for more chances to win! You can claim your free tickets at the customer service counter in store. Good luck! ~Victor

It’s been entertaining reading everyone’s comments. Some of you people take this to serious. I do not work for Albertson but they produce this game to give back to customers. It will effect some people by winning a prize but many won’t get a thing. Just enjoy and maybe you will get lucky and win. I sit down with my daughter and check my pieces with her. We have a ball doing it together and that is a prize in itself. Thanks Albertson. Good luck to others:-)

I’ve been buying groceries at one Albertson’s location on West Sahara in Las Vegas and received a total of about 300 Monopoly tickets, all were tightly sealed and had a variety of cards. Then I tried the store on West Flamingo and Hualaapi in Las Vegas and each Monopoly game piece seemed like the side had been opened and resealed – enough for an Albertson’s employee to peek inside, see if they won anything, then seal it back so that it looked almost closed – TOTAL SCAM! The cards didn’t feel the same as the other Albertson stores. They felt different, more fluffy, like they’d been opened. So I won’t ever shop at this Albertson’s again – can’t trust employees with Monopoly tickets, whose to say they won’t sell old meat, etc.? I don’t like scammers and enjoyed playing the Monopoly game until this happened. Almost all the cards were identical and had obviously been opened. I would “mystery” shop this store and see for yourself, I wouldn’t want dishonest employees (prob. Managers) working for me!

Hello, Amy. I understand your frustration at finding your game markers in such shape. We will be reaching out to the Store Director of the Hualapai and Flamingo location about this. If you would like to be contacted back, please e-mail us at AlbertsonsHelprs@albertsons.com with the best way to contact you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. ~Stephanie

I agree….. The game is not easily accessible to check tickets. Your websites are poorly created and it is difficult navigating

    • Customer Care Customer Care 27/04/2014 at 11:53 am

Thank you for the feedback, Kathy. The easiest way to check tickets would be to go to https://albertsonsmarket.playmonopoly.us – If you have any additional problems navigating that website, please contact the Online Game Support under section one of the FAQs. Thank you for posting and good luck! ~Marie

  55. Brenda 03/05/2014 at 2:27 pm

I have about 100 monopoly pieces but have no idea what to do with them or anything. I look online but there’s no instructions what so ever. Was I supposed to also be handed a board to paste these on or something ? Its NOT self explanatory to say the least. I almost threw them out since I cant find out what to do with them.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 04/05/2014 at 2:56 am

Hello, Brenda. We apologize that this information was not made available to you. There are two ways to play. You can pick up a game board from the Customer Service Desk at your local store and affix the markers to the game board to win. Also, you may register online at https://albertsons.playmonopoly.us and enter in your online codes. I hope this helps and if you have any further questions, feel free to contact us. ~Stephanie

Super close in winning something! Not sure if I would win but, I don’t care much because I just like the excitement of playing. Thank you Albertsons.

  57. srd 07/05/2014 at 4:34 pm

GRRRRR! Ive been playing, and playing, and playing. Nothing, not even $5? I have 2 teenage boys and I shop A LOT….Im afraid that this game is so bad that I am going to give up and start shopping at VONS.

  58. Cassidi 14/05/2014 at 1:28 am

Wow, it’s insane how many people complain about this game, you’re not obligated to play, nor are you putting extra money in to have a chance at winning. You’re buying groceries and they are giving you game pieces to play with at your own will at NO extra charge. It’s fun for those who grocery shop because they actually need groceries, not because they’re buying stuff they don’t need to maybe win a prize. If you are a poor sport in general then maybe you should consider to just not participate in any types of games in life, then you won’t get upset with others trying to offer a good time.

But back to my original thought coming onto this forum…. Why are only some of my “potentially online winning game tickets” highlighted in green when looking at my code history?

  59. sam 21/05/2014 at 1:03 pm

dumb. Your marketers SUCK it says ON THE GAME PIECES THEMSELVES to “go to albertsons.com and click on the game link.” Which doesn’t exist. FIX IT.

  60. Caroline 22/05/2014 at 1:20 am

I agree with an earlier post, the game objection is NOT clearly stated…more implied…. My inquiry is I do not have a board and the store I was at had run out of boards. It is basically last minute but where can I go from here? What can I do? Can I just write down codes and look for consecutive numbers and matching pictures? It is said that there are 2 ways to win: using the biard and entering the codes online. Are those one in the same or 2 seperate ways of winning. Meaning are the online codes one set of prizes and the pictures etc. a separate set of prizes? And is there a way to get a board online? If not then I object to that, & really feel there should be a way to access the boards online.- Caroline

    • Customer Care Customer Care 22/05/2014 at 7:16 am

Hello, Caroline. The two ways of winning are indeed separate and do have separate prizes. There is not an option to get the board online at this time, but I would be happy to forward your suggestion for future consideration. If there are any stores in your area that still have boards available, you could pick one up there. If you would like us to check with your local stores, please let us know. Thank you for taking the time to contact us and have a great day. ~Stephanie

  61. Lee 27/05/2014 at 2:40 pm

Very disappointing…all this work for a bottle of Dr Pepper???? Come on, that is all you give to loyal costumers? You need to give more small prizes to more people…small but bigger that a bottle of soda. Not going to Albertson’s again.

    • Customer Care Customer Care 27/05/2014 at 6:35 pm

We appreciate you being a loyal customer, Lee, and we value your feedback on the game as well. We will take your comments into consideration for future promotions to improve your experience and we apologize for your frustration. I hope you have a nice evening. ~Shasta
