So Cal Albertsons Customers Deep in a Cookie Craze
Jan 28th, 2014
Who can resist a warm batch of freshly baked cookies? Thankfully, Albertsons Southern California customers know how to indulge their sweet tooth with these irresistible confections. And they’re great at sharing for a good cause, too!
Since January 15, Albertsons So Cal stores have been sponsoring their annual ‘Share the Love’ cookie campaign. At 2 for $5, cookie lovers of all ages have been busy scooping up a bag of their favorite flavor for themselves and leaving the second bag as a donation. At the end of the campaign, these cookies will be delivered to nearby military units and local Boys & Girls Clubs or youth groups throughout Albertsons service area. All 181 stores are participating and associates are seeing a tremendous response. And with such tempting flavors as Red Velvet, Oatmeal, Sugar, Peanut Butter, Brownie, M&M Candy and Chocolate Chip, it’s easy to understand why! Airmen stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, CA have dubbed the effort “Operation Cookie Wagon.”
There’s still time to support the cause. Stop by your nearest Albertsons before Feb 4, pick up a bag and donate the second. It’s that easy!
