Ever have one of those days where you feel like you barely have time to eat, let alone exercise? I know I do! If you are short on time and don’t have any gym equipment in sight not to worry!  You can still get a total body workout with nothing but yourself and a clock or timer!
Here is how you can increase blood flow, your heart rate, mental acuteness, and energy with this functionally efficient blast!

Set a large clock with a second hand in an area with plenty of space in your home, outside, hotel room or anywhere.

At the top of the first minute when the second hand reaches the “12” perform exercise (1) as fast as possible for an entire 60 seconds.

1.  Mountain climbers

Rest for 60 seconds

At the top of the next minute when the second hand reaches the “12”perform exercise (2) as fast as possible for the entire 60 seconds.

Rest for 60 seconds.

2. Body weight squats

Repeat using the same pattern until all exercises have been completed.

3.  Pushups (knees or toes)

4. Lunges (alternating legs)

5.  Jumping jacks or half jacks

When complete hydrate and get ready to stretch.  Perform each static stretch on each side and hold for 30 seconds using the clock to time yourself.
