May 28th, 2015
Dear Old Dad. Pops. Daddio.
Whatever you call him, he has done so much for you throughout your life. This Father’s Day, think outside the box when honoring your Dear Old Dad. Here are 5 simple & fun ways to celebrate Father’s Day with your #1 Dad!
King of the Grill
Is your dad the master of the grill at your house? Surprise him by learning his favorite dish to grill and cook it up for him on Father’s Day! Let him put his feet up and relax while you grill up a tasty dinner to say “Thanks for being the best.”
You can also hook him up with an upgrade on his grilling tools to make sure he’s always King of the Grill!
Take it Outside
Have a dad that’s active? Take him outside! Be his caddy on the golf course or take a hike to a new spot that neither of you have been to. Getting outside for activities is a great way to spend time together as a family and enjoy the sunshine that June weather brings.
Make it a Game Night!
Bring everyone together and play games as a family. Make it a little more interesting and have prizes for winners!
Take it to the Car Wash
If your dad is anything like mine, he takes great pride in his car. So, what’s a better way to say “Thanks for being the best, Dad” then making his wheels sparkle like new! It can even be a fun, outside activity with the whole family to beat the summer heat!
Try Something New Together!
Is your dad an avid learner or adventure-seeker? Find a class and take it together! Or try something new like Go Kart Racing! Having an adventure with Dad is a fantastic way to do something a little extra special for your pops.
