What is the program?
In this 18-24 month program, the Management Trainees receive a comprehensive education on every aspect of store operations. During this time, you値l be given key responsibilities and encouraged to make critical day to day decisions that contribute to store success, while participating in structured learning experiences. Whether a trainee for Center Store Manager/Assistant Grocery Manager or Assistant Store Director, you値l get the foundation you need for success as an eventual Store Director. The Store Director position is your gateway to exciting corporate career opportunities. The career possibilities at Albertsons-SavOn are limitless!

Summer Business Internship Program

Who is eligible?
College sophomores and juniors

What is the program?
Just like sampling a new product in your favorite Albertsons-SavOn supermarket, an internship allows you to taste our unique way of retailing. We池e proud of the recipe we致e created to produce some of the most talented retailers in the business!

Our Summer Internship program gives you the chance to learn retailing through a combination of mentoring and on the job skills training. Assigned to a learning store and a Store Director who値l be your guide and mentor all summer long, you値l work full time and be paid for ten 40-hours weeks.

In addition, you値l be assigned a project in marketing or operations at the start of the summer, and present your results and recommendations to senior executive leaders during your final week. This should give you a remarkably clear idea of what working the exciting and changing world of food retailing is all about.
