    So my family (children included) have diligently been playing your monopoly game since the day it started. We have purchased several items in our local Albertsons just because they had an extra game piece. We drive up today and with NO WARNING our store is closed ????? And now I find out that this has been planned!! Why would you allow us to INVEST in this game knowing full well that we wouldn’t be able to complete it (because everyone knows the good prizes aren’t released until toward the end of the game). What Albertsons did was misleading and seems to me possibly illegal!

    I’ve been playing since the game started. We have won a lot of Instant Win for more game pieces, a few Instant Win for food, too many 25 cents off coupons to count, Redox rentals, and of course collecting the game pieces for the “bigger” prizes. My questions are…..when are the “rare” games pieces going to be released ? It is already April 5 and the game ends May 19th. Also, does getting game pieces from different store locations increase your chances of getting a rare piece ? Do you have a drawing from the people who input their Online Game Code and Sweepstakes Entry & if so how many and which prizes ? Thank you : )

      Hello Laura, all game pieces are distributed and released at random to each store. Due to the randomness of distribution; the “rare” pieces could possibly be out there already. Also changing locations may or may not increase your chances of winning, due to the random element.     I concur with Laura, there are many elements to this game to believe that NOT ALL of the games pieces have been released. We have been diligent and played since the beginning. There are NO huge prize winners on this website. Why is that and why are all of the exact same pieces missing?

    i have played every year and have never won anything except 2 free game tickets. i hate shopping there now. i have been given huge stacks from people and have never ever won anything. this game sucks and they should stop it!! obviously that randomness excludes much of Arizona because very few people in Arizona ever win. never anyone from Tucson. my clerk told me she won $1000 in the employee version. what false advertising if employees win more than customers.

    To the people commenting… I have had over 400 tickets and haven’t won anything…. but it isn’t albertsons fault… I literally have one ticket missing from every section and thats all. but…
    THEY HAVE THE STATISTICAL CHANCE OF YOU WINNING ON THEIR WEBSITE!
    Chances of you winning one million dollars with 60 tickets… 2,667,667:1

    yeah….you’re really fooling yourself and your children if you think those are good odds.
    1 out of almost 3 million!!!
    Half of the tickets probably get thrown away.
    The people who win the big prizes most likely have access to thousands of tickets.

    Chances of you winning the 100, 000 Tesla prize with 60 tickets…

    There is millions of tickets and very few winning tickets.
    It’s unfortunate… I find myself continuing to go to their store also…
    Guess we have to continue working hard and giving all our money away :/

    Thanks Jill for putting it into perspective. I can’t believe people are blaming Albertsons for their lack of winning, considering the odds. Like you said, some winning tickets are thrown away. So, again, like you said, I’ll just keep on playing and hoping. Having hope adds excitement to life….. But it has to be tempered with understanding the odds.
    So because Albertsons is too nice (or business savy) to say anything negative, I’ll comment for them…… “Come on people, get a grip! Quit expecting everything to be handed to YOU!”

    The albersons in my area just closed to become the new chain that bought some of the stores, and i cant find my game board. How can i get one online so i can tell if i won something (all the numbers, not just the rare numbers). I can drive 30 min and be at a store that stayed an albertsons and claim it, if it’s worth it. THX

      Hi Bill, the online game and the physical board game are different. You can check any of the online codes you’ve entered but there is not a way for you to check which pieces you had on the physical game board. ~Thomas

    I realize that the odds of winning this game are extremely, extremely slim. I’ve played this game for the last two years and have spent extra money at Albertsons just hoping to get those rare game pieces, which is what others are doing too. People are getting disappointed and disillusioned with the game because of the low number of people who actually win a larger prize. I have stopped spending extra money to get extra game pieces, but I admit that if more people were winning, and I felt there a small chance I would win, I would keep playing and keep spending! So it does seem that it would make the game more successful if you either increased the odds of winning those big prizes, or lowered the claim that you are giving away $80,000,000 in prizes. According to this list, there have been less than $200,000 in prizes that have been won. I enjoy our local Albertsons and think they have great sales, but I admit I have been disappointed with the number of prizes actually won.

    I decided not to waste the hours it takes to play this game ever again because it’s not worth the time and effort, getting hopes up …. the odds are you aren’t going to win. Go buy a lottery ticket instead if you want to play a game of chance.

    Would be a lot more fun if you distributed a bunch of smaller prizes so you had more winners and the odds made it really possible you’d luck out. Every one likes to win, and not lose. Make more winners !!!

    As it is, you’re irritating customers with the game, the longer it goes on. Frustration = losing customers. Have customers get awarded store products or something.,,anything to get away from the negativity. Happy customers will stay.
