Food bank

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman, Travis Frederick, and teammates Zack Martin (guard) and Alfred Morris (running back), appeared at a local company store Tuesday, Dec. 20, to donate groceries to the Tarrant Area Food Bank and help raise awareness for Frederick’s Blocking Out Hunger Foundation.

The mission of Frederick’s Blocking Out Hunger Foundation is to provide support for inner-city and low-income children throughout Metro Dallas who struggle with hunger.

Frederick and his teammates raced down the store’s aisles to collect as many groceries as possible in two minutes. They finished the race with a grand total of $11,399.98 worth of groceries! Thanks to Travis Frederick’s Blocking Out Hunger Foundation and the Cowboys for partnering with Albertsons and Tom Thumb to help feed Tarrant County families in need this holiday season.
