Tis the season to entertain! The holidays are a magical time of fun, festivities – and best of all – food! But before you know it, they can turn into one of the busiest, most stressful seasons making your ‘To Do’ list longer than ever. My perfect party recipes to the rescue! If you are like me, I always need a quick recipe to whip up to feed a crowd during December and I am here to help, keeping the stress out of the kitchen. These days the pace is fast and the days are busy, so I enjoy hosting a party full of pick-ups and appetizers, rather than a sit down formal dinner – giving everyone the opportunity to come whenever, mingle, talk, and try a sampling of many different foods.  I always reach for healthy Fresh to Go pre-cut veggies and fruit for timesaving ingredients that could not be easier. Albertson’s fresh French bread alone is always a yummy way to please guests but with a little creativity, topped with Fresh to Go meats, artisan cheeses, or your favorite spreads or dips – the options are endless. I have had great success spreading the food throughout my home taking advantage of coffee tables and other serving places around the house promoting a flow of people from room to room.

It is possible to stay healthy and stress-free this season – just keep these easy, crowd-pleasing recipes and tips in mind for simple go-to delicious bites of goodness your guests will request for holidays to come.

  • A plate of artisan cheese and crackers with an assortment of seedless grapes makes a quick and easy, extra special appetizer.  Garnish with spiced walnuts.
  • Label the assortment of different artisan cheeses so guests know what they are tasting.
  • Serve only picks ups, so there are no utensils needed.
  • Pick up small rolls for meat and pre-cut to serve easier.
  • A glass bowl filled with Pomegranates or cranberries makes a festive centerpiece.
  • Fanned fresh strawberries are easy and beautiful as garnishes.
  • Order holiday festive cookies or pies from the bakery for extra ease!
  • Remember to plan ahead and prepare some recipes ahead and freeze.
  • Serve dips with pre-cut Fresh to Go veggies and crackers for a low-calorie easy and healthy option.
