It’s Joe Albertson’s Supermarket, but this Albertsons Story is Mine

“After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.” ― Philip Pullman
Generations have been connected to each other through stories since the beginning of time. Traditions, culture and legacy are not cemented from a set of concrete rules but through a series of stories on how someone has chosen to live their life. And so it is with Albertsons as we celebrate our 75th Anniversary. The stories of how our founder, Joe Albertson, treated his customers and employees with tender loving care swirl around our company and form the foundation of how the current team must behave to build on his great legacy.
Over the years, Joe, his wife Kathryn, and the Albertsons team have touched the lives of thousands of people. We know that there are so many great stories about Albertsons that remain untold. Therefore, to celebrate our 75th anniversary, we invite everyone to take a seat around the virtual campfire and tell us your Albertsons story.
The “It’s Joe Albertson’s Supermarket, but this Albertsons Story is Mine” interactive website gives you the opportunity to join Albertsons’ 75th Anniversary celebration by telling your story of how Albertsons has made a difference in your life – be it Joe himself, our fried chicken or a family member who worked for us. Share your story. Simply go to albertsonscelebrates75.com, complete the online form and upload a picture or mp4 video if desired.
So, go ahead, visit the site, see some of the stories that have already been posted and then tell us yours. You will honor us with your presence at Albertsons 75th Anniversary party and help us build a future, full of tender loving care, for our customers.
