Meningitis Vaccinations Clinic Returning to University of Oregon Campus

The University of Oregon will be holding its second Meningitis vaccination clinic next week for University of Oregon students. The meningitis vaccine is a series of three shots. For those who were vaccinated at the first clinic, come by to receive your second vaccination. If you missed the first clinic, you can come by for your first vaccination in the series.
Be sure to wear a short sleeve shirt for easy access to your arm.
What: Meningitis Vaccination for all undergraduate University of Oregon students (1st and 2nd doses of vaccination will be available)
Date: Tuesday, May 12 through Thursday, May 14
Time: 2-8pm each day
Location: Matthew Knight Arena on the University of Oregon campus (1776 East 13th Street)
What to Bring: Student ID and Insurance card
Don’t have Insurance? No undergraduate student will be turned away. If you are uninsured there will be assistance available.
Graduate Students? Graduate students living on campus are eligible to receive the Meningitis Vaccination at the clinic. If you do not live on campus, you must be high risk to be eligible. To be considered high risk you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Do not have a spleen
- Have Compliment Component Deficiency
- Have Sickle Cell Disease
For students who are unable to make the clinic, stop by any of our pharmacies in town with your student ID and insurance card to get vaccinated.
For all other Eugene and Springfield residents, and Graduate students, visit any of our pharmacies to get vaccinated. Please note that you do need a prescription if you are not an undergraduate UofO student.
