Anchovy and Onion Sauce

DIRECTIONS
In a mortar, grind the anchovies with 1 tbsp oil from the can until smooth. Add the garlic, parsley, capers and crumbs and continue grinding until the paste is well blended or use a food processor and purée.
Add the rest of the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Blend well and pour the mixture over the onions. Chill. Serve with chilled fish or meats as an hors d'oeuvre.
