Thai Beef Salad With Red-Hot Dressing

DIRECTIONS
Make the Red-Hot Dressing. It'll take you about 5 minutes.
Slice the beef into 1/2-inch-wide strips and place in a 1-quart or larger bowl. Pour 1/2 cup of the dressing over the beef and stir until the beef absorbs most of the dressing. Reserve the remaining dressing.
If the lettuce is not prewashed, rinse it, drain, and spin or pat dry. Place the lettuce in a 3-quart or larger serving bowl. Slice the cucumbers. Add them to the bowl. Chop the mint and cilantro (if using) and add to the bowl.
Add the marinated beef to the bowl. Pour the remaining dressing over, toss well to mix, and serve.
