Artichoke And Cold Meat Salad

DIRECTIONS
Cook the artichoke hearts in boiling salted water until tender, 5 to 8 minutes. Drain. Cool.
Combine the artichokes with the mushrooms, cheese, meat, and scallion in a large bowl.
Mash the garlic with the 1/4 teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour this dressing over the salad and toss well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
