DIRECTIONS
In a non-reactive saucepan, sauté the onion in the oil until soft. Add the water, vinegar, Worcestershire, lemon juice, brown sugar, ketchup, and spices. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Set aside to cool completely.
Add the chicken pieces. Cover and marinate 24 to 48 hours in the refrigerator.
Prepare a grill.
Grill the chicken over medium coals for 20 to 25 minutes, turning frequently and basting with the marinade, until the juices run clear.
