Matzo Almond Dumplings

DIRECTIONS
Beat the yolks until very light. Add nutmeg, salt, sugar, almonds, butter or fat, and enough matzo or cracker meal to make a stiff batter. Beat the whites stiff and fold them into the batter. Drop by teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil. Fry until light brown. Try one. If It does not hold together, add more meal. Place in oven to keep warm and put in soup just before serving.
