DIRECTIONS

  • Beat the egg yolks until thick and pale yellow. Gradually add the sugar to the yolks. With a wire whisk, beat in the milk and 1 quart of the cream. Add the bourbon, rum, and Cognac, stirring constantly. just before serving, beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture. Whip the remaining heavy cream until stiff and fold in. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
