DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a baking pan.
  • Layer the onion, beef cubes, peppers, and tomatoes in the baking pan and sprinkle with the garlic, sugar, ground pepper, and bay leaf.
  • Combine the water, tomato paste, Tabasco, and Vietnamese Sauce in a small bowl and pour over the ingredients in the pan. Cover and bake for 35 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and stir in the olives and rum.
