Grind the round steak twice.

Place in a quart mason jar and add water and salt.

Cover the jar lightly. Place it on a cloth in a pan containing as much cold water as possible without upsetting the jar. Bring the water slowly to a gentle boil and continue boiling 1 hour. Remove the jar. Place on a cake rack to cool as quickly as possible. Strain the juice. Store it in a covered container in the refrigerator until ready to heat and serve.
