DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil, add salt a pinch of salt and cook pasta al dente. Drain and toss with a tablespoon of butter and half the Parmesan cheese.
Oil a 3-quart baking dish or casserole and spread a third of the ziti over the bottom. Top with a third of the Ricotta, a third of the sauce and a third of the remaining Parmesan. Repeat the layers, ending with the Parmesan. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top and dot with remaining butter.
Bake 25 to 35 minutes in preheated oven, until bubbling. Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes, and serve.
