DIRECTIONS
Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Heat the cream and vanilla extract in a saucepan until very warm but not boiling.
Add the cream to the chocolate, beat until well blended, and chill for about 2 hours. Beat at high speed until soft peaks form, then frost the chilled torte layers.
