Teriyaki Flank Steak

DIRECTIONS
Early in the day combine the oil, wine, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Marinate the steak in this mixture for at least 3 hours, turning it occasionally. Have a barbecue fire ready. Remove the steak from the marinade and pat it dry. Grill 4 - 6 inches from hot coals, turning every minute or so, for about 6 - 8 minutes total for rare, 10 minutes for medium, and about 12 minutes for well-done. Carve across the grain, into thin diagonal slices.
