DIRECTIONS

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, following the manufacturer's suggested cooking time.
  • A few minutes before the pasta is done, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté just until it turns light golden, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the red pepper flakes and sauté until they release their aroma, about 30 seconds more.
  • Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve immediately, passing Parmesan for guests to add to taste.
