DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Place the butter and sugar in a medium mixing bowl and, using a hand mixer, beat the butter and sugar on medium speed for one minute. Add the flour and the egg and blend until the dough is soft--about 1-1/2 minutes. Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls, spaced 1-1/2 inches apart, onto nonstick cookie sheets and bake for 20 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden.
