DIRECTIONS

  • Combine the marshmallow creme, chocolate, and butter in a large saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until melted. Remove from the heat; stir in the vanilla and tint with the food coloring. Pour over the cereal in a large bowl and stir to coat well.
  • Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Poke a hole in the center of each with your fingertip; add the red hots for centers. Refrigerate.
