Petrifying Halloween Punch

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup sugar
2 cups water
6 oz frozen lemonade concentrate
18 oz frozen orange juice concentrate
1 quart ginger ale
1 quart club soda
1 jar (4-oz.) maraschino cherry, with juice
1 pint lemon (or raspberry) sherbet
1 quart gin (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Disolve the sugar in water in the punch bowl. Add frozen lemonade concentrate and the orange juice concentrate, mix. Add the ginger ale, club soda, and cherries (their juice too!). Just as company arrives, spoon sherbet on top.
