Easter Brunch Casserole

DIRECTIONS
Make sauce by frying bacon, then remove from heat. Add chipped beef, butter, mushrooms and mix well. Sprinkle 1/2 C. flour and pepper, to taste over bacon, beef, and mushrooms. Add 1 quart of milk. Cook on medium-high heat, stirring constantly until thickened; set aside. Combine eggs, milk, and salt. Melt butter in a large skillet and scramble until cooked through. Use shallow 9x13-inch baking dish and alternate layers of eggs and sauce. (Be sure to keep eggs moist to prevent darkening.) You may cover and refrigerate at this point. To serve, heat covered at 275° for 40 minutes until heated through and bubbly. Do not overbake as eggs will discolor.
