Witch on a Stick Cupcakes

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Do not prepare the cake mix according to the directions on the box. Instead use orange juice, sour cream, and eggs. Coat nonstick cupcake pans with nonstick cooking spray. Fill a cupcake pan until two thirds full. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until cupcakes test done.
  • When the cupcakes have cooled decorate the tops of the cupcakes as the witches' faces using any decorations you have. Insert a Popsicle into the side of the cupcake, where the witch's neck would be. Use chocolate frosting for the hair. Jelly beans of colored frosting for eyes and mouths. The chocolate ice cream cones can be stuck to the top of the cupcake for the witches hat. Be creative and have fun.
  • Note: To store or transport "witches on a stick," you can make holes in the bottom of a shoe box, flip it over, and push in the sticks so they stand like lollipops.
