INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  • Generously coat a 2-quart casserole dish or 9" x 5" loaf pan with the nonstick cooking spray; set aside. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a small shallow bowl, blend the sugar with the cinnamon. Melt the butter and diet margarine together in a small, microwave-safe shallow bowl using the DEFROST power of your microwave, or melt in a small saucepan and pour into a small, shallow bowl. Open the pop-cans and pull the rolls apart and place on a cutting board.
  • Cut each of the rolls in half (to make two half-moons). Dip each of the half moon shaped pieces of dough into the butter mixture then roll in the sugar mixture to coat all sides.
  • Place the coated pieces of dough on top of each other in the prepared pan. The dough should almost reach the top of the pan or dish. Sprinkle any remaining sugar mixture over the top. Bake in the center of the oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown. Let cool slightly, then remove the bread from the pan and place on a serving dish or plate.
