Asparagus with Brown Butter and Parmesan

DIRECTIONS
Bring water to boiling.
While water is heating, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook butter for 3 to 4 minutes, or until nutty brown and aromatic. Remove butter from pan and set aside.
Drop trimmed asparagus spears into the boiling water; cook for about 2 minutes, or until asparagus turns bright green.
Transfer asparagus to a clean kitchen towel to drain; then arrange on a serving platter.
Drizzle asparagus with reserved brown butter and finely shredded Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
