Apple Apricot Chestnut Dressing

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350°. Butter a 3-quart casserole dish.
Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Sauté the onions and celery over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes; then add the apples and sauté for 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.
Add the bread cubes, apricots, chestnuts, parsley, salt, and paprika. Toss until the mixture is moist but not wet.
Place the dressing in the prepared casserole, and bake at 350° for 1 hour. If it seems too dry, moisten it with a little stock, while baking.
