Thank you, Caldwell.

Just one week after a fantastic Grand Re-Opening Celebration at the Eagle & McMillan location, the community in Caldwell, Idaho gathered around for another fun-filled event at the 415 Cleveland Blvd. store. This location was actually the third Albertsons store ever built.
The store team was introduced after a thrilling performance from Caldwell High School’s marching band. Caldwell High School was then presented with a check, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to introduce the newly remolded store.
After a motivational speech by Mayor Nancolas, former Boise State Assistant Coach, Dave Nickel, made an impromptu appearance inside the store. What a treat it was to listen to Dave’s fascinating stories about coaching the Broncos in the 1970’s and to share an enjoyable conversation with him.
The Boise State Cheerleaders remained on site through the early evening with the 2014 Fiesta Bowl Trophy. It was such a blast to witness so much excitement as loyal Albertsons shoppers approached the trophy. The best part of all was the opportunity to engage with the Caldwell community and see a myriad of smiles throughout the day. From everyone here at Albertsons, thank you.
Fun Fact: The founder of Albertsons, Joe Albertson, grew up in Caldwell and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1925. His career in the grocery industry began in 1927 as a local store clerk while he attended the College of Idaho in Caldwell.
