Wayne Denningham, President, Southern California Division
From Courtesy Clerk to President, Wayne Denningham began his career with Albertsons in 1977, bringing over 30 years of grocery retailing experience to our customers in the Southern division.
From Wyoming to the shores of Florida, he has held many leadership positions in numerous stores and across the company’s division offices. He began his career as a Store Director, and served as a District Manager in Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. In 1996 Wayne was asked to lead the Colorado Division of Albertsons as Vice President. From there, he went to Florida and returned to Denver as President of the Intermountain Division which included Colorado. Wayne then moved into a corporate role as Executive Vice President of Marketing. Following that, Wayne led the Dallas-Fort Worth as Division President, and also returned to Colorado following the formation of Albertsons LLC in June 2006 to lead that division. Wayne was named Florida Division President in February 2007, and served as Southern division president from October 2010 until his transfer to the Southern California division in March 2013.
