NO you don’t have it! I just spoke to your Ladera Ranch Albertsons, and they handed the phone to 3 different people and then took my information and said they would call back.

My request was VERY simple all I wanted to order was a crown pork roast, a common item to serve at the holidays. Guess I will once again take my business to El Toro Meat Company, they just take my order, and say thank you!

FYI the second sentence on this page says “We but our meat fresh” I’m pretty sure you want to say ” We cut our meat fresh”

Oops! Thanks for giving us a heads up on that sentence, Shannon! I hope you have a fantastic week. ~Shasta

Here’s an interesting bit: a comment from February 2015 points out a typo in the page text. “Shasta” from Albertsons responds. Today near the end of June, the typo is still there. Apparently accuracy is not a priority for the IT crew.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Richard! I will make sure the typo gets addressed. ~Jennifer

Albertsons Corona Foothill butcher section representative Angie is the best. I asked for a 6 lb. cut of pork roast. Angie suggested to slow cook in oven for tender result. But first rub with taco seasoning and pan sear in little olive oil. Sit in heavy foil and sprinkle a little brown sugar. Close foil at 275 degree oven for two hours. Open foil and continue oven for 45min to an hour. THANKS ANGIE!!!

Hmm, noting two separate comments where they point out your typo in the passage, “We but our meat fresh” and both Shasta and Jennifer with “Customer Care” promise to fix the comment. Now May 2016, typo still not fixed. Hope you take better quality care with your actual meat products.

I have a question. Does Albertsons use mTG or Microbial Transglutaminase in their meats: either the packaged meats or the butcher block meats?

  8. Melanie 06/11/2017 at 2:28 pm

After buying a tri-tip at the Albertson’s in Los Feliz, I open the package, and turn the tri-tip over and there is an inch of fat covering entire roast. It is turned upside down so the customer doesn’t see that. And this is no exaggeration, it was probably more than an inch of fat in certain places. I buy tri-tip a lot and this is not the first time this has happened.

    • Customer Support 07/11/2017 at 3:27 pm

Melanie, We apologize for the quality of the tri-tip you’ve received! We appreciate you bring this to our attention so we may address and correct the problem. We have notified the Store Director for review and correction. In the interim, please return with your receipt for a refund or replacement. Thank you for shopping with us and have a great day! -Brandin

If I purchase pre-packaged meat, will the butchers grind it at the counter?

    • Customer Support 09/05/2018 at 10:57 pm

Alex, typically not packaged meat. However, we encourage you to check with the meat department at your local store as it would be at their discretion. Thanks! -Cornelius
