    Christine Wilcox;
    I want to ask you for permission to appear before two of your Jewel- Osco stores to accept donations for people with intellectual disabilities in our community. This would be done as part of a nation wide campaign run by the Knights of Columbus.
    Our Council 1005 is based at St. Frances of Rome Church in Cicero.
    We are very thank ful for being able to be in front of your store for many years. People look forward to seeing us every year.
    We give a tootsie roll to all who make a donation. We have no expenses except the cost of the candy.
    All money raised is given to groups in our community to help individuals with intellectual disabilities. A portion of the money is used for Special Olympus Illinois.
    We would like to conduct the fund raising drive on the weekend of Sept. 20-22, 2013 at the North Riverside Jewel- Osco and the Roosevelt Road Jewel- Osco store in Oak Park, Il.
    I have talked to the managers at both stores, who told me that I needed to call the corporate office. I was given a phone number. When I called that number, I was told to e- mail you with my request.
    I was told no approvals could be given at the store level.

    I would appreciate if you could allow us to continue the great relationship with our fund raising drive.
    I would be glad to answer any questions about the fund raising drive or the Knights of Columbus.

    I am a Sales representative for Bell Plantation. We are the producers of PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter. Bell Plantation was founded in 1991 by J.C. and Jo Bell as an agricultural research company. Spurred on by the need to improve profitability for family farmers, Bell Plantation is devoted to rethinking the uses of traditional farming products. Key to the company’s goals is the development of consumer-ready products from commodities grown on the farm. And that’s how PB2 was created – an excellent answer to a significant peanut surplus. When you buy Bell Plantation products you’re choosing flavorful, healthy innovation that’s good for you, your family, and for America’s family farms.

    I am asking for the name of the sales representative for the Northwest.

    I am one of the owners of Oleavicin. Oleavicin is an all natural alternative for cold sores, fever blisters and minor skin conditions. It works twice as fast as conventional treatments at less than half the cost. We have been setting local Alberstons here in the So. California area and the managers really want it to be added into the system. I have several stores wanting to be set. Please have someone contact me. This is a patented product that really needs to be in your stores! Best, Cindy Makela (805) 968-0518. Our broker is CSI out of So. California.

      Hi Harry, Thanks for your feedback. When our companies merged last January, we made the decision to keep our current advertising programs in place. We’ll be sure to pass along your feedback to our Southern California team for consideration.

      Have a great day!
