Fish is on the Menu for Dinner this Week

Oct 7th, 2014

Not ready for summer to end and still out there fishing? We’ve got some great ideas of what you can do with your catch!

Plus, fish is an easy alternative if you’re looking to cut back on red meat and starting to get bored of chicken. It’s easy to cook and one you get the hang of it you’ll soon realize how many different options are out there.

Fire up the grill and dig in!

Honey Ginger Grilled Salmon

A quick and easy dinner right here! Just marinade then throw on the grill for 6-8 minutes on each side!

Pesto Topped Halibut

Halibut is a great fish to serve as an introduction to someone who has never had fish. It’s light, doesn’t have an intense fish flavor and when topped with pesto it’s extra delicious!

Grilled Fish Tacos

Taco Tuesday in our house is the norm. But to keep things from getting boring we have to think outside the box. Fish tacos are a great way to change it up. Seasoning the fish gives you even more options to stay original.

English Fish ‘n Chips

Fish ‘n Chips with a light and crispy batter! To serve them authentically, load them into a cone made by rolling a piece of brown buthcher paper (or newspaper)!

Grilled Catfish Remoulade

If you have little ones maybe just say “fish” when you’re serving dinner. No reason to give yourself a few hours of explaining how it’s just fish and has nothing to do with a cat!

Chipotle Lime Tuna

The best thing about this dinner is that you can take the leftovers, shred them up and make tuna for a sandwich or salad the next day! Win-Win! Get the recipe here.

I love catfish and I am especially happy when you have catfish in stock. Thank you for being all I need when I need to shop for food.
