When did this go into effect (the stamps) I was in Albertsons on 9/3 and my cashier had NO IDEA what I was talking about and told me that I must be thinking about another store… I didn’t have my flyer on me to show her… anyways please let your stores know BEFORE it starts so customers don’t feel like idiots!

Sorry for the trouble, KC. The promotion started on 9/6/13 and we were in the process of getting all of our associates up to speed before the promotion started. I’m sorry that your cashier didn’t know about it on 9/3. I’ve shared your feedback with your local Albertsons. I hope you enjoy the promotion! ~Marie

  2. Darlene 06/09/2013 at 1:50 am

Can you add receipts together that did not total $10.00?

    • Customer Care 08/09/2013 at 4:55 pm

You have to spend $10 in a single transaction to earn a stamp, Darlene. Enjoy the promotion! ~Marie

  3. Sukanchana 07/09/2013 at 3:32 am

I spent $30 today but i got only 1 stamp. I dont understand why the receipt said i can get only 1 stamp. This is so wrong. Im not happy with it. I can go to Walmart and buy whole set of Rachael Ray dinnerwear for cheaper than collect all 120 stamps.

    • Customer Care 08/09/2013 at 5:41 pm

That sound frustrating, Sukanchana, but the total purchase is minus excluded items such as prepaid Master Cards, tobacco, money orders, postage stamps, lottery tickets, wire transfer services, all gift cards, bill pay service, or any other products excluded by law. If you have any questions, please see the Customer Service Desk at your local Albertsons for details. The goal of this program is to reward our customers for purchases that they’re going to make at our store for their regular shopping. If you’d like to purchase the items at retail, you’re welcome to do so. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! ~Marie

  4. Heather 09/09/2013 at 12:36 am

I just saw this on my receipt today that I had earned three stamps. Do I save the receipt or are there actual stamps that I should have gotten?

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 5:54 pm

You should have received actual stamps, Heather, but no worries! You can take your receipt to the Customer Service Desk at your local Albertsons, and they’ll give you the stamps. Thanks for asking and enjoy the promotion! ~Marie

  5. Courtney 09/09/2013 at 3:31 am

Hello 🙂 Just to clarify, I put the saver stamps randomly on the Map of Numbers? Or do the numbers on the stamps somehow coincide with the numbers of the number map?

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 5:54 pm

The numbers on the stamps don’t have any real significance, Courtney. You can just place the stamps on the card in the order you receive them. Thanks for your question and have fun! ~Marie

  6. Dawn 09/09/2013 at 8:32 am

I agree with Sukanchana. Today I purchased $50 worth of food – not prepaids, tobacco, money orders, postage stamps, lottery tickets, wire transfers or gifts. I bought human FOOD. Before taxes my total was 50.29, with tax it was about 51.00. I should have received 5 not 4. Your rules state that you receive 1 for every $10 you spend, 2 for $20, 3 for $30, etc. However, Albertson’s is not playing by their own rules.

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 11:46 pm

We appreciate your questions and understand your confusion, Dawn. Each state can establish laws for what products can receive “incentives” for their purchase. Usually these are restricted items like prescription drugs, alcohol or cigarettes, but in some states it can include things like dairy. Our systems are set up to comply with local and state restrictions as they apply to promotions. Please see the Customer Service Desk for more information.

  7. Rita Crabbe 09/09/2013 at 9:22 pm

I am collecting stamps for Rachael Ray dinnerware….todayc 9/9 I spent $10.26 and store clerk said no stamps earned…also the receipt stated 0 stamps earned….why? Also spent over $86.00 on 9/4, the first day of promotion and received 7 stamps. I called your customer service line and was told exclusions were….prescriptions…gift cards….stamps, etc, none of which I purchased. Can you let me know what is excluded from promotion, so I can plan accordingly. Thank you, Rita Crabbe

  8. frankie 10/09/2013 at 12:07 am

i just found out about the stamps today… I was in my store just the other and nothing was said about it then either.
what i want to know is how does this stamp thing work. what stamp goes where??????
there is nothing in my store or the flyer that i got from the cashier that explains the stamp order. how do you know where to put which stamp on the game board?

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 6:47 pm

There’s no real trick to it, Frankie. Whenever you receive a stamp, just put it in the next available space on the card. There should be numbered squares, and that just is to tell you how close you are to your next piece. I hope that helps! Enjoy! ~Marie

  9. Kelly 10/09/2013 at 12:10 am

Do you realize that in order to get one FREE item, you must spend $200? One stamp for every $20…that’s $200. You get one plate for $200. One cup for $200. That’s crazy don’t you think? There are 4 pieces to the set. That’s $800 for one set. Most people don’t just have one set of matching dishes. You’d need thousands and thousands of dollars spent on groceries in order to have a dinner set for 4 people. We are very regular shoppers and enjoy the rewards and have benefited from them in the past. We received a Cuisinart blender among other things via the stamp program and it’s been much enjoyed. However, even if we made it through the process and received one free SET of dishes ($800), it’s just not practical. A Set of Glassware or another small appliance or a Set of Silverware is better than one set of dishes that realistically won’t be used – it’s ONE set. We spend on average about $250/week at Albertsons. This current program is not an incentive to continue shopping here. We could go to Walmart where the prices are cheaper. We stay loyal to Albertsons for a lot of reasons, including these types of promotions, but this is likely the end.
Another item to note regarding warped deceptive promotions is when you offer a Buy One get One Free item (for example in the meat section). It’s obvious the original price per pound is inflated to cover the cost of the second item. We’re not actually buying one and getting the second one free. We are not stupid consumers.

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 6:46 pm

I’m sorry that you’re not thrilled with this promotion, Kelly. The way it sounds, you should be getting a free dish every time you shop at Albertsons. We want to reward customers like you for shopping with us, so I’m hoping you take advantage of it. Regardless, I’ve shared your comments about this promotion and our Buy One, Get One Free promotions with our teams. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you have a good weekend. ~Marie

  10. Monica M 10/09/2013 at 5:24 pm

I am very excited about this promotion! I especially like that I can get an item with only 20 stamps. Was never able to collect enough for the Cusinart promotion and gave my stamps to my aunt who has a bigger family.

  11. Marci 10/09/2013 at 8:46 pm

I just got my card and started collecting stamps. I noticed the dishes shown on the card have a matching interior and have ridges around the outside/top. But the dishes shown on this page have a white interior and no ridges. Can you let me know which ones are being given away? Thanks very much! Love my Albertson’s!

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 6:56 pm

Great question, Marci! We are offering the solid-colored dishes with ridges. I hope you enjoy! ~Marie

  12. Denise 11/09/2013 at 12:22 am

If the goal of the program is to reward customers for regular purchases, why don’t you just keep track on your computer and tell me when I’ve reached a goal “GO PICK OUT SOME RACHEL RAY STUFF!” Why make me collect little stamps that come off the sheet in my purse and put me through that frustration. Same with the pots/pan promo last year. Just tell me when I’ve reached the appropriate milestone and that would be a FANTASTIC reward. This is just annoying.

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 7:41 pm

Thanks for your feedback on keeping track of customers’ purchases via computer in lieu of collecting stamps, Denise. I’ve shared your recommendations with our teams for future consideration. Have a great weekend! ~Marie

  13. Tammy 11/09/2013 at 1:11 am

I had got 30 stamps and the register person gave me 1 free item and 1 item for $2.99. They took my card and said i had to start all over. I had 10 more stamps for my free item. Why didnt they just put a line threw the used stamps and give it back to collect my 10 more stamps for the free item???
What numbers are for the 10 stamps for 2.99 come on the card???

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 7:40 pm

That shouldn’t have happened, Tammy. The associate should have given you the option to keep collecting on the 10 stamps you had after redeeming the 20 stamps for your free item. I’d like to make the Store Director aware of this so he or she can relay the appropriate information to the associates. Could you please let me know at which Albertsons this was? Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. ~Marie

  14. Steve 11/09/2013 at 6:38 pm

    With 30 stamps, I can get 1 free piece plus 1 piece for $2.99. Can I also get 3 pieces for $2.99 X 3 ($8.97)?

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 7:55 pm

There should be no problem in doing that, Steve. Just let your cashier or the Customer Service Desk associate know if that’s what you want to do. Thanks for your great question! ~Marie

I live in Yuma AZ., In July 1998 my 9 year daughter was killed on her way to school her name was Erica Nicole Barden the next day when we were all greiving i wasnt in any shape to cook for my husband and my son, albertsons show up out of the blue with a very large plater of food it was a miracle because my family had something already prepared and ready to eat. I want to thank albertsons again for thier caring and compassion that had for us in a time of tragady and heart break the most hardest time of our lives THANK YOU ALBERTSONS FROM THE BARDEN FAMILY

  16. Brad Marczuk 12/09/2013 at 7:05 pm

A few days ago I spent $13.59 and my boy was excited to add another stamp to the card. When no stamp was offered I asked the checker and he said “You do not have enough in purchases”. Surprised I replied “$13.59 is more than $10.00.
“Oh but you bought ice cream.”
“Well…. Dairy products are exempt. These are Federally subsidized and do not qualify for the promotion”
Nowhere in the rules does it say dairy products are exempt. What about produce or meat? The farmers and ranchers receive Federal subsidizes as well. Since grain is used in the baked goods – by this logic everything in the store is exempt. Is the ice cream “excluded by law”? I doubt it or at least not on an Idaho state law web search. There was nothing in the $13.59 purchase which was excluded by the promotion rules as far as I can determine. Alberston’s was doing a good job in transforming their stores under new Ownership and this type of customer service unfortunately undermines so much of their efforts and new training.

  17. donna 12/09/2013 at 7:47 pm

I enjoyed the pots and pans promotion, it worked out well. I was able to get some nice items. These seem really expensive for what you get, 1 item for 20 stamps!!
However it is much better than the Monoply which is just a waste of time and energy,

  18. Karyn 13/09/2013 at 4:11 am

Will you be doing serving items next, platter, serving bowls, butter dishes, etc…?

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 8:09 pm

The companion pieces will not be part of the stamp collecting portion of this promotion, Karyn, but you can purchase them outright (and paying full price for a dish or companion piece is an eligible stamp purchase!) Great question! ~Marie

  19. Sarah 13/09/2013 at 8:39 pm

Is the dishware made in the US?

    • Customer Care 14/09/2013 at 8:38 pm

Great question, Sarah. The Rachael Ray Dinnerware is made in China. ~Marie

  20. Kim 14/09/2013 at 3:51 am

Would you please post the full list of excluded items

My local store was unable to tell me if the Rachel Ray dinnerware meets either FDA lead and cadmium free regulations or if it compiles with California Prop 65 requirements. This information must be available to the consumer. Please let me know where I can get these certifications.

    • Customer Care 17/09/2013 at 2:45 pm

At Albertsons, we take consumer safety very seriously and can assure you that the Rachael Ray Dinnerware complies with FDA cadmium and lead-free regulations and California Prop 65 requirements. If you’d like to have this information emailed to the address you provided, we will do so. Thank you! ~Marie

  22. Lisa 16/09/2013 at 5:50 am

Within a couple of blocks of my home there is an Albertson’s and a Von’s. I usually shop equally at both. With the Rachael Ray stamp program I’ve been going to Albertson’s more frequently because I thought the mixing bowls were cute. However, I found out when I tried to redeem my stamps for a mixing bowl that they were not part of the stamp program. I think Albertson’s should have set it up so customers could use stamps for all items, just requiring more stamps for the bigger pieces (similar to the cookware program). I’ll be splitting my shopping between Albertson’s and Von’s again with probably more at Von’s and less at Albertson’s.

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 1:25 am

I’m sorry to hear of your disappointment with the promotion in that you cannot earn stamps towards the serving pieces. It is a different approach than we have taken in the past and I have shared you feedback with our teams for future consideration of these sorts of promotions. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Lisa. Have a good rest of your day. ~Marie

  23. carlos 16/09/2013 at 2:43 pm

I would like the handled Rachael Ray platters that are not part of the promotion. Would Albertson’s conceder including the higher priced platters? Higher priced items might go for some combinations of 40, 50 or 60 stamps with/out $2:99. Thank you

Ps. to those complaining about having to “pay $200 for a cup”, didn’t you need buy groceries anyway? Ok so you paid $200 for a cup and got $200 worth of free groceries.

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 1:41 am

We won’t be offering the serving pieces in exchange for stamps this time around, Carlos, but I will be sure the share you feedback with our teams for future consideration. Thank you for your question and enjoy the dinnerware! ~Marie

  24. Paula 16/09/2013 at 3:02 pm

Can you get the stamps if alcohol is purchased?

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 1:41 am

Good question, Paula. If alcohol is excluded from promotions by law in your area, then you cannot earn stamps on alcohol itself. If your total grocery purchase included alcohol, then you would receive stamps for the qualifying groceries, minus the cost of alcohol or any other excluded items. I hope that helps. If you have any other questions about this, please see your store’s Customer Service Desk! ~Marie

  25. Donna 16/09/2013 at 3:39 pm

Hi. Can we simply purchase the dishes and bypass the stamp process?

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 2:05 am

You sure can, Donna! Each piece is $5.99 with no stamps, $2.99 with 10 stamps and free with 20 stamps! I hope you enjoy the dinnerware! ~Marie

  26. Gary 17/09/2013 at 4:44 pm

Some of the comments I’ve read seem to point to the fact that the stamp program is going to be a bit expensive for customers. $200 earns 20 stamps. 20 stamps earns one item (dinner plate, or salad plate, or bowl or cup). $800 earns 80 stamps; one complete set. $3200 earns enough for 4 place settings. $53 buys the entire 4 place setting elsewhere. One can buy 60 complete 4-place setting packages for the cost of the promo.

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 2:05 am

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our promotion, Gary. This program is about rewarding our customers for purchases that they’re going to make at our store for their regular shopping. If you’d like to purchase the items at retail, you’re welcome to do so. Thanks again and have a great evening! ~Marie

  27. Laura 17/09/2013 at 8:37 pm

This is really no reward at all – you did away with Gas perks – and add this – seems so out of date. This is what grocery stores did in the 80’s. Its a joke. For example here is a whole set of dishes for only 60 bucks – I think I will shop at Winco where the food is much more reasonable and buy my dishes from Amazon.

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 2:19 am

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Laura. I’m sorry that you find this promotion unrewarding and out of date. We actually get a lot of requests for these types of promotions. I’ve shared your feedback with our teams and I hope you have a good evening. ~Marie

  28. Zoe 17/09/2013 at 9:45 pm

Is the dinnerware pattern like the picture at the top of this page or the picture on Facebook? There’s a pretty big difference and I want to make sure I know what I’m saving stamps for.

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 2:30 am

The dinnerware is the solid-colored dinnerware with the ridges, like it shows on our Facebook page, Zoe. I hope that helps! ~Marie

  29. Steven Burkeland 18/09/2013 at 12:15 am

Is it possible to just buy the pieces outright without needing to buy 3200 dollars worth of groceries for a full set?

    • Customer Care 18/09/2013 at 2:29 am

Yes, you can, Steve! You can buy each piece for $5.99, but if you do collect stamps, you can also get a piece for $2.99 with 10 stamps or FREE with 20 stamps. I hope you enjoy the dinnerware! ~Marie

  30. Katrina 18/09/2013 at 11:48 pm

Your previous promotions included purchases made at the pharmacy inside my local Albertson’s store but today the pharmacy tech told me that this time pharmacy purchases aren’t eligible? Is this true or is he mistaken?

    • Customer Care 21/09/2013 at 1:26 am

Great question, Katrina! In this case, the Pharmacy Technician was not mistaken, as pharmacy purchases are indeed excluded. Thanks for posting! ~Zachary

  31. Jackie 20/09/2013 at 6:16 am

I spent 510.70 last night. 71.75 of it was food stamps are they one of the exclusions? Apparently the cashier believed that because she only gave me stamps for the cash total. My state is Texas. Thanks for your reply.

    • Customer Care 21/09/2013 at 1:19 am

Hello Jackie, thanks for getting in touch with us. It does not appear that there is an exclusion on food stamps for the Rachael Ray Dinnerware promotion. I would take your receipt to the customer service desk at your local store to receive those seven stamps. Sorry for the confusion! ~Zachary

  32. Mary Gehl 20/09/2013 at 6:39 pm

I just can’t believe that anyone is even bothering with this promotion…..even if you shopped every day till the promotion is over you couldn’t “earn” a dinnerware set for eight which is the normal. And just add up the cost….shoppers aren’t stupid! Even your own employees think it’s a big waste of time. I wonder if Rachel Ray understands what you’re doing with her product?

    • Customer Care 21/09/2013 at 1:23 am

Sorry that you are not satisfied with the Rachael Ray Dinnerware promotion, Mary. This program is about rewarding our customers for purchases that they’re going to make at our store for their regular shopping. Some customer come home with a free piece every time they shop. Of course, if you’d like to purchase the items at retail, you’re welcome to do so. Thanks for posting, and you have a great day! ~Zachary

  33. n. railey 21/09/2013 at 7:40 pm

It would be nice if your promotions coincided with the time snowbirds stay in your lovely State. Usually I only have half the time to collect stamps or whatever by the time I arrive at the end of October from Canada to visit my daughters who live there year around. I know many snowbirds who feel the same way and we do pump literally billions of dollars into the economy yearly. I did manage a few years ago to collect enough stamps to get a lovely stainless steel wok. Thanks.

    • Customer Care 21/09/2013 at 10:09 pm

Thank you for your feedback, N. We do sincerely appreciate our snowbird shoppers, and I have shared your comments with our teams for future consideration. I hope you get a chance to enjoy our Rachael Ray Dinnerware program while you’re down here! Thanks for shopping at Albertsons and have a wonderful weekend. ~Marie

  34. Vicki 21/09/2013 at 10:08 pm

I think the Rachel Ray promotion is terrific! I just have to decide on which color to get, or to mix them up. Since I will likely spend a reasonable amount of money shopping at Albertson’s between now and December, I consider anything I get for free a windfall. And if I did NOT shop at Albertsons, regularly, and ended up with only one bowl, I would enjoy eating my oatmeal out of that one pretty bowl. Lighten up, people. Albertsons does not owe you a set of dishes.

    • Customer Care 26/09/2013 at 6:08 am

Glad to hear you’re enjoying the promotion, Vicki. I’ll be sure to share your feedback with our marketing teams. Have a good night, and thanks for being a fan! ~Cindy

  35. Robert H 21/09/2013 at 10:10 pm

I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about this promotion and either the overall cost in the end or a cashier that doesn’t have all the informtation. Now I don’t mean to be rude, but you don’t have to participate. There is no rule that says it is mandatory. You are spending that money anyway on the things you buy regularly anyway; so, why not get some benefit other than a stock fridge/pantry? Cashiers also don’t have or forget many of the particulars. THere is a lot to know and they have a lot more to their job than just ringing up rude customers all day. It also isn’t a cashier’s job to know state regulations about exemptions. The manager either has or can get that information. If you don’t want to shop at Albertsons, then go elsewhere, losing you isn’t going to casue them to close their doors.

I for one have nothing but praise for my local Albertsons. They have always been helpful and go out of their way to make things right if somthing goes awry. They are even completely respectful of my disabled adult family member and treat him like an adult. Everyone there is patient with him, knows his name, and even lets him give them a hug.

  36. Patti 23/09/2013 at 10:57 am

In the store there is a Rachael Ray casserole dish.I was wondering if this is part of the promotion, is it also free with 20 stamps?

    • Customer Care 26/09/2013 at 6:07 am

I’d be happy to check for you, Patti. Which location do you shop? I await your reply. Thanks! ~Cindy

  37. Laurie 23/09/2013 at 2:09 pm

Too bad there is not consistency in the items that are excluded . In my state of Montana, I went to albertsons in two different towns. At one store, dairy purchases were counted towards total stamps, and at the other store dairy was excluded. Really albertsons, get it together and make this a fun promotion!

    • Customer Care 29/09/2013 at 6:41 pm

Thank you for your feedback, Laurie. I’m sorry that it seems that the excluded items are inconsistent. Sometimes, local laws are different between towns and we are supposed to adhere to them. Thanks again for your comments and I’ve shared them with our teams for future consideration. ~Marie

  38. Patti 23/09/2013 at 7:37 pm

I was wondering if you can get the casserole dish for free with 20 stamps

  39. Karen 24/09/2013 at 3:16 pm

I’ve read all of the comments and it seems to me this isn’t a very popular promotion. The pan promotion was nice because unlike dishes, you don’t need all the matching pieces. I understand some people will be able to have many pieces, but I think the majority of shoppers will be like me and end up with a coffee cup. I know it’s a free cup, I just think marketing could have done a little better rewarding customers for their business.

  40. Dorothy 24/09/2013 at 9:43 pm

Like Kevin, I would like that printed statement about the lead and cadmium content of these items; it’s the first thing I thought of when the promo began. Truthfully, I think the colors are a little….’intense’, but I am saving the stamps for either soup bowls or to get blue plates for Cookies for my church. Best Item on the full-price purchase category is the garbage bowl(s), but I have two of the vintage Texas Ware type with more subtle coloration, and can’t justify the expense. The originals were actually made with leftover liquid melamine, resulting in a truly random ‘confetti’ appearance.

is the cotest for rachel ray win a trip over? …if not, i cant find entry?

    • Customer Care 29/09/2013 at 6:54 pm

Nope, Albert, the sweepstake is still going, all the way to 12/26/13! You can enter by going here: – Thanks for your post and good luck! ~Marie

How long is the Rachael Ray Dinnerware Stamps going to be?

    • Customer Care 26/09/2013 at 5:32 am

Good Evening, Amy! The sticker issuance ends on 12/26/13, and you have until 1/7/14 to redeem them. Hope this helps, and have a great night! ~Cindy

  43. Steve 27/09/2013 at 5:02 am

After cashing in my first 60 stamps for 3 pieces, I took my pieces home and noticed that the pieces pictured on this web page are NOT the ones given free by Albertsons. This page pictures 4 orange ROUND AND SQUARE pieces. The pieces I got were round, but not round and square. They also are smaller than the round and square pieces I bought on . Perhaps, this was an unintentional oversight, but isn’t this misleading the public into spending money at Albertsons thinking that they will get the more valuable round and square pieces? Concerned!!!

  44. Amy Mohr 27/09/2013 at 3:27 pm

How many stamps does it take to fill out entire card?

    • Customer Care 29/09/2013 at 7:19 pm

It takes 120 stamps to fill out a card, Amy, but remember, you can get a FREE piece of dinnerware after 20 stamps! ~Marie

  45. A. T. Aguilar 27/09/2013 at 11:54 pm

Well, I am not surprised at all the comments about the Rachel Ray promotion. We spent $65 and got four stamps. We went back and were given the two stamps (grudgingly) after showing our receipt, Aside from everything, this promotion is causing friction between customers and your cashiers. That, in itself, is enough reason to scrap it. I speak from experience as management.

    • Customer Care 29/09/2013 at 7:27 pm

Thank you for your feedback, A.T. We do these promotions because we get a lot of customers requesting them, so I will be sure to share your insights with our teams to improve these sorts of promotions for the future. ~Marie

  46. Debbie 28/09/2013 at 6:21 pm

Do you have other rachael ray dinnerware available like serving platters, gravy boats, etc?

    • Customer Care 29/09/2013 at 7:49 pm

We do have companion pieces available for separate purchase, Debbie. They are not eligible for stamp redemption, but you can earn stamps by purchasing them! Please check your local Albertsons for what companion pieces are available! Thanks for your question and enjoy the program! ~Marie

  47. Sharlene 29/09/2013 at 8:29 pm

I went to Albertsons today to purchase groceries. I do not need dinnerware. When I finished checking out the cashier stuck out her hand with two stamps and said, “Here’s your stamps.” I told her – twice – I didn’t want them. She told me she absolutely positively was required to give them to me. I told her I didn’t have to take them, but she still held them out to me. I finally had to ask for my receipt. Please, STOP with the gimmicks or I’ll shop somewhere else.

    • Customer Care 03/10/2013 at 12:10 am

I’m sorry that the cashier has been requiring you to take the stamps, Sharlene. You are not required to take them and the cashier should accept a polite refusal. If you can let me know which store this was, I can pass this on to the Store Director so our customers who don’t want to participate can leave the store hassle-free. Thank you for letting us know! ~Marie

  48. Dorothy 01/10/2013 at 7:01 pm

Still waiting for an email with the statement about this Made in China dinnerware meeting lead and cadmium standards. I want to ask friends to save stamps for me, but I don’t want a cupboard full of lead and cadmium. Response team?

  49. Gia 01/10/2013 at 7:06 pm

I spent $387.30 two days before the promotion started and they would not honor my receipt with any tickets. Poor customer service.

    • Customer Care 03/10/2013 at 12:22 am

I’m sorry, Gia, but the promotion didn’t start until 9/4/13. Our stores are unable to credit customers with stamps prior to the promotion start. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you have a good evening. ~Marie

  50. CHRIS 01/10/2013 at 7:59 pm

If one were to judge all Alberston’s customers by this talkback you’d so their IQs are quite low. Come on people. Pay attn. And yes, you do have to spend a lot to get something free but wouldn’t you be spending the money on groceries regardless of the promotion? Find something new to complain about. Geesh.

  51. Beth 03/10/2013 at 3:05 am

I am so excited to be getting free dishes. I will only collect the bowls as accents for my other dishes. Yesterday I got 4 stamps and a woman at the next cashier over asked all around if anyone was collecting these stamps. I said I was starting that night. She handed me 18 stamps. That was a great start to my collection. Do we have to put a stamp on the free spot?

  52. Brenda 06/10/2013 at 2:29 am

I have started collecting the stamps but it requires a ridiculous amount of $ to acquire 4 place settings. ( most people want at least 6 place settings ) The ones at my store are solid. I heard they sold them at Kohls but they are white inside. If I don’t earn enough stamps can I buy the rest of what I need to complete at set from Albertsons at the regular price?

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 11:02 am

Thank you for your feedback on our promotion, Brenda, and I’m sorry for the delay in response. You can purchase the dishes seperately for $5.99 apiece, or $2.99 with 10 stamps! I hope that helps you complete your collection! ~Marie

  53. Mary Gonzales 09/10/2013 at 9:11 am

I shop at my Albertsons on Lemmon and McKinney about every two weeks. I have yet to receive any stamps. I have not had one checker ask me if I was collecting stamps. I have seen the dishes in the store but until I saw this page I wasn’t really sure what it was all about.
I don’t get a weekly ad. I have to get online to see the specials and print the ad till I get to my store.
I do have all my receipts though. Can I still get the stamps I haven’t received?

    Thank you,

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 11:15 am

Hi Mary, I’m sorry that you haven’t been getting the stamps you should have earned. I have sent your comments to the Store Director of the Albertsons on Lemmon & McKinney and you will be contacted by email by the end of the next business day to see what we can do for you. Please let us know if you need anything else! ~Marie

  54. Linda Waterman 12/10/2013 at 11:13 am

This promotion is the biggest joke I have ever seen. when I asked the teller how many (SETS) of dishes I would get if I filled up the whole card, she looked behooved! and she asks HOW MANY (SETS) of dishes? then she begins to explain that if I fill up the card to the first free mark I receive (ONE) dish! (ONE DISH) I said so for ($200) dollars I can receive (ONE) dish!! WOW I’M EXCITED NOW!!! SO for ($1,200) dollars I can receive I’m just guessing at this point 12 dishes? that is if you actually get the (one) free dish after each fully filled section on the card. So my question here is ARE THEY MADE OF GOLD AND JUST PAINTED OVER WITH UGLY PAINT????? or DO THEY THINK WERE STUPID? maybe I should take that last statement back because I do see people with their tongues hanging out waiting to get their little stamps. As for me if I want a (SET) of dishes I will go down to my local walmart and get a (SET) for only about ($35.00) and if I ever feel like splurging and buying a (SET) worth ($1,200) dollars they will have a beautiful gold trim around the edge. Thank You so much for your generous offer but NO THANKS….

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 11:27 am

Thank you for your feedback about our promotion, Linda. This program is about rewarding our customers for purchases that they’re going to make at our store for their regular shopping. If you’d like to purchase the items at retail, you’re welcome to do so. Have a great rest of your day! ~Marie

  55. Michelle 12/10/2013 at 3:07 pm

When I was growing up, the local store in my community had the same type of dish program (like the Rachel Ray promo) in which my mom was able to get me an eight piece setting that I used in college and for years when I was first married. I was initially excited about the Rachel Ray promo and being able to get a set of 4 for my daughter. To my disappointment this promotional program will make it too hard to collect that many in three months. I don’t want to pay money out of pocket as I can go elsewhere to get just as nice dishes for much less money. Sadly it is not a good program. Would you be able to extend the timeline into 2014 or have double stamp days to make this a successful program?

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 11:37 am

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Rachael Ray Program, Michelle. Unfortunately, we will not be extending the deadline beyound 12/26/13. Thank you again for your comments and I hope you have a good day. ~Marie

  56. James 13/10/2013 at 12:57 am

are these the same plates that are on Rachael Ray’s website? The picture shows the plates have a white-bottom side and that the bowl has a white inside. But the actual product on the shelf in-store is a solid orange. Your website shows the same white, but again the product in your stores is solid. Please confirm colors.

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 11:46 am

The dishes we are offering, James, are the solid-colored ones with the ridges. We have them in orange, green, blue, and red. I hope that helps! ~Marie

  57. Alisha 13/10/2013 at 11:54 pm

If I spend $10 worth of qualifying purchase and use a coupon that brings the total below the $10 minimum, does that purchase no longer qualify? Just need to clarify. Thanks Albertsons 🙂

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 12:00 pm

Great question, Alisha! If a coupon brings your transaction total under $10.00, then you will not be able to receive a stamp on your purchase. I hope that helps! ~Marie

  59. Nancy 17/10/2013 at 6:54 pm

I too have receipts, but I was not aware I needed to get stamps until last week when I saw the Racheal Ray flyer, I am so used to having a card that keeps track of such promotions at other stores…so I went to Albertson’s today and asked if they would honor my receipts and give me stamps and they said no. I have been traveling to AZ in my RV and have receipts from Jackson, WY, Idaho Falls, ID and Boulder City, NV. At no time was I ever asked if I wanted stamps. The customer service rep at the Albertson’s I visited today said, that they couldn’t honor my receipts because they could not take everyone word that they hadn’t gotten stamps and the fact that they were from out of state made it even more impossible… you all work for the same Albertson’s don’t you? She said I should have been asked if I wanted stamps and I informed her that the cashier I had in her store had not asked me, I had had to ask him for them.

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 1:37 pm

If you have the receipts with the number of stamps you should have earned, then they should be honored at any Albertsons, Nancy. The cashier signs off on your receipt in order to indicate that you received your stamps. I’m sorry that you’ve had problems getting your stamps. If you need help getting them, please let us know by emailing us at with your current Albertsons store location. Thank you! ~Marie

  60. Larissa 18/10/2013 at 11:40 am

Hi! I have a friend who lives in Illinois and shops at Jewel Food Stores. She is collecting the Rachel Ray dishes. Could you tell me if the stamps collected at Albertson’s in Florida are interchangeable with the ones being given out at Jewel in Illinois?

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 1:50 pm

I’m sorry, Larissa. We appreciate you wanting to help out a friend, but stamps must only be collected by the customer who earned them. Thanks for your question! ~Marie

  61. barb burley 18/10/2013 at 6:29 pm

I like getting the dinnerware but I don’t like the fraudulent ways it works. It says on the “stamp saver” and all literature about this sweepstakes…”receive one stamp for every $10 spent etc.” If a product u buy is on sale, it doesn’t count, nor does liquor etc. There are many items that u don’t receive credit for and they don’t tell u until u are at the checkstand making u feel like a dummy!

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 1:50 pm

Thank you for your feedback on the Rachael Ray Promotion, Barb. I’m sorry you’ve been made to feel that way. Sale items should qualify so long as they count towards your $10+ threshhold, however there are items excluded by law that you should see your Customer Service Desk about. Please be assured that I have shared your feedback with our teams. I hope you have a good week. ~Marie

  62. Suzanne Elfstrom 19/10/2013 at 6:13 pm

I was mislead in thinking that everything on display in-store was part of the promotional giveaway, so I started to collect the stamps because I really want the platters and chip bowls — I think they’d make great party platters. Is there anyway that I can use the stamps for these other items? I recognize that the value of the stamp won’t go as far, but I’d love to be able to buy something I really want with the stamps.

    • Customer Care 20/10/2013 at 1:51 pm

I’m sorry, Suzanne, but the companion pieces are available for purchase only. You cannot use stamps to reduce to price of those pieces. However, the companion pieces are eligible to earn more stamps! Thanks for your question and have a good week! ~Marie

  63. art 20/10/2013 at 1:39 am

I think ppl are forgetting that there are taxes included in your total…and of course that doesn’t count toward your total for receiving stamps. People should be thankful for promos, not bitter complainers.

  64. Jennifer 23/10/2013 at 11:38 am

I love this promotion. I see people being frustrated and upset because of the “cost of a dish”, but the reality is, I’m buying groceries regardless so getting a few extra plates is a bonus for me. My dishes are getting old and adding a couple new pieces is fun for me. I love this promotion and love our local Albertsons. The staff is amazing and they know me and my kids by name. I can’t get that at Winco.

How do I enter to win an all inclusive trip to New York?

    • Customer Care 26/10/2013 at 4:07 pm

Great question, Hailey! All you need to do is go to and submit your name, email address, phone number, city, state, and zip code. Then, you will be entered into a drawing! We’ll have 5 winners which we’ll announce towards the beginning of 2014. Good luck! ~Marie

  66. Chris sparks 25/10/2013 at 1:25 pm

I was out of town when the Rachael ray promotion started. I was shopping at Jewel Osco and started getting my stamps. I live in California where it is called Albertsons. Can i use my Jewel Osco stamps with my Albertsons stamps?

    • Customer Care 26/10/2013 at 7:18 pm

Great question, Chris! You can indeed use your Jewel-Osco stamps and your Albertsons stamps together! Thanks for posting, and I hope you enjoy your free dinnerware! ~Zachary

  67. Suzanne Elfstrom 25/10/2013 at 5:27 pm

I feel like that is sort of a bait and switch. I don’t want any of the other pieces. I have a complete dinner set. I just wanted the other pieces for festive occasions. I guess I won’t waste my time collecting anymore stamps.

  68. PD Morris 26/10/2013 at 6:13 am

I recently learned not all stores participate in the promotions. There should be some way to know that before I shop especially if I am trying to earn the promotion. I really wanted to leave my cart and go to another location. Besides that no one manager included could tell me if I could take my receipt to a store that was participating and get the stamps. Not very good customer service. I mean it your policy and your employees don’t even know what it is.

    • Customer Care 26/10/2013 at 4:18 pm

All of our stores are supposed to be participating in the Rachael Ray Dinnerware promotion, PD. Could you please email me at so I can better assist you with this matter? Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. ~Marie

  69. Tom 26/10/2013 at 12:05 pm

Do you need to put a stamp on the ‘free’ spaces?

    • Customer Care 26/10/2013 at 4:17 pm

Great question, Tom! A stamp should go over the “free” spaces to indicate that you have reached your free piece of dinnerware. I hope that helps! Enjoy the promotion! ~Marie

  70. Tom 26/10/2013 at 2:09 pm

Just to let you know. The store I use, made me put a stamp on the ‘free’ spaces.

  71. Shannon 28/10/2013 at 9:43 am

Why are the dishes featured in the picture above NOT the same as the ones in the store? How can we get the ones shown here, on the Albertson’s website?

    • Customer Care 02/11/2013 at 8:41 am

Good Morning Shannon! That is a great design pictured above; the white is a great contrast. Unfortunately, it’s not available through this great promotion; otherwise I would have a set of that too! The Rachael Ray Double Ridge Dinnerware is offered in our Albertsons promotion until January 7th, 2014. Thanks for the great question.
      ~ Chris

  72. Alisa 28/10/2013 at 6:06 pm

Are the Albertsons in other states participating in the promotion? Specifically Colorado? If so, can I use my stamps from California when I go to Colorado?

    • Customer Care 03/11/2013 at 11:22 am

All of our Albertsons stores are participating, Alisa, so you can use the stamps you earned in California while you’re in Colorado! I hope you’re enjoying the promotion! ~Marie

  73. Holly 29/10/2013 at 9:36 pm

I have to say the Rachel Ray promotion is a joke. All the restrictions on when you get a stamp and when not are ridiculous. I was actually going to try and shop at Albertson’s a bit more to acquire some of the bowls but I bagged that idea due to the stingy way the promotion gives (or should I say doesn’t give) out stamps. I even bought an Albertson’s gift card for a friend because of the promotion but wished I would have gotten one elsewhere because, guess what, no stamps. I spent the money why can’t I get a stamp? There are dozens of people bypassing stamps. I think you could be a bit more liberal with them, especially if you want customers. Well you lost one here.

    • Customer Care 03/11/2013 at 11:23 am

Thanks for your feedback regarding the Rachael Ray Promotion, Holly. I have shared your comments with our Marketing Team for consideration. Please know that your local Albertsons Customer Service desk should be able to let you know what the restrictions are for this promotion. You also can call our Customer Service number at 1-877-932-7948 or email us at for more information. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and I hope you have a great day. ~Marie

  74. Valarie 30/10/2013 at 7:26 am

I have been saving stamps but I am more interested in the EVO dispenser that I see in the Rachael Ray collection at my local stores here in Missoula, MT. How can I go about obtaining one? Can the stamps be used to defray some of the expense?

    • Customer Care 03/11/2013 at 11:24 am

I’m sorry, Valarie, but the companion piecs such as the EVOO dispenser are for purchase only. Stamps cannot be applied to their purchase. However, the money you use to buy the companion pieces does go towards earning stamps for the dinnerware. I hope that helps! Thanks for your question and have a great day! ~Marie

  75. Lawrence Terrell 30/10/2013 at 1:12 pm

I completely filled the entire book (120) hard earn stamps only to be told by the clerk that I was entitled to (6) items. In side the book bottom right it clearly says: receive (6) FREE pieces. That is a total of (12) by my math

    • Customer Care 03/11/2013 at 11:24 am

Hmm… You’re right, it does take a total of 120 stamps to fill a book, Lawrence. However, you get one free piece per every 20 stamps and 20 goes into 120 six times, so you would only get 6 free pieces for filling up a book. I hope that math helped you out. Thanks and have a great day! ~Marie

  76. Lisa 30/10/2013 at 2:39 pm

I am collecting stamps from people in our community for a family who lost everything in a home fire. I have enough stamps for 2 sets so far and hoping to get enough for 6-8 sets. So if anyone doesn’t want their stamps to redeem for 1 plate, I’ll gladly take them and put them towards more pieces for this family. They will greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

  77. Jean 31/10/2013 at 10:37 am

The Rachael Ray recipe flyer (ALBDSOC R10205 Rachael Ray Recipe Flyer 01) has a recipe for Pot-roasted Pork with Sweet Peppers. The directions say to “Add the port…” but port is not listed in the ingredients.

How much port does this recipe call for?

    • Customer Care 03/11/2013 at 9:23 am

Not sure how we missed that… Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Jean. We’re doing some research to find out how much port you’ll need to add. In the mean time, could you let us know which store you picked up this flyer? We hope to hear back from you soon. ~Kimberly

  78. Steve 01/11/2013 at 1:05 pm

To all consumers; be patient and very nice to your friendly Albertsons cashier. I have played this collection game every time it’s offered. Towards the end of the promotion period the friendly cashier will give you more stamps. A few years ago my Christmas gifts were paid for. At or towards the end of the promotion, the friendly cashier will give 10-20 stamps for a minimal purchase. Hint: Be nice to your cashier.

  79. Shannon 04/11/2013 at 10:23 am

I have one full booklet and am halfway thru another. You can have everything. Let me know where to send it.

  80. Zoe 04/11/2013 at 6:42 pm

Can I bring receipts that are valid in collecting stamps to the store from previous shopping times when I didn’t collect the stickers when I was there?

    • Customer Care 10/11/2013 at 11:58 am

If you don’t collect your stamps during your visit, you should still be able to go back with your receipts and get the stamps you earned, Zoe. Cashiers are supposed to initial the receipts when you get the stamps, so the Customer Service Desk should know on which transactions you received stamps and which ones you didn’t. Please remember that you cannot combine transactions for this promotion. I hope that helps! Please let me know if you need anything else. ~Marie

  81. Trish 05/11/2013 at 12:59 pm

Is there anywhere online to view the promotion items (dishware), or are they only viewed in the store?

  82. Suzy 10/11/2013 at 5:11 pm

Is there a way to redeem stamps on-line? We live in Sheridan, WY and the variety of choices left is pretty sparse. We live 120 miles from the closest Albertson’s to check their supplies.

    • Customer Care 11/11/2013 at 9:24 pm

Hey there Suzy, the stamps can only be redeemed in store. I’d recommend trying to contact the store to see what dinnerware they may have available, so you can still have a chance to redeem your stamps. I hope this helps, and that you have a wonderful night! ~Cindy

  83. Crystal Bai 11/11/2013 at 9:56 pm

I just saw how the incentives of stamps work with Collect one Saver Stamp for every $10 you spend, 2 stamps for every $20, 3 stamps for every $30, and on and on. I spent over $70 and only received 2 stamps ? I don’t understand did the cashier make a mistake ?

    • Customer Care 12/11/2013 at 1:43 am

Sorry to hear that you didn’t receive the correct amount of stamps, Crystal. You should be receiving one stamp for every $10 spent. In this case, I would bring your receipt into the customer service desk, and they can get you the stamps you didn’t receive. Hope you have a great night! ~Cindy

  84. Traci 18/11/2013 at 7:24 am

All you people complaining about the promotion need to get a life. Go to walmart and buy the set at retail price if you don’t want to play by the rules. If you didn’t get stamps that you think you should have gotten, instead of complaining on the computer, go to your local albertson’s and talk to customer service. If there are exclusions, deal with it. You are not going to get more stamps just because you whine and complain. Everyone has to get groceries. If you get enough stamps to purchase a couple items at a discounted price or get some items free, GREAT! You have the right to choose if you want to spend your money on those discounted items. No one is forcing you to participate or spend the money. To all the customer services reps responding so professionally on this page, “Keep up the good work!”

  85. paul yasko 18/11/2013 at 11:13 am

I wanted to get the Steak platters and they were all out. I understand that these need to be purchased, but why cant I order these. I was told to visit other Albertsons to see if I can find them. If your going to have a promotion and more so one that costs 1200
to fill out a booklet, I would think that the customer could get the pieces they want.

    • Customer Care 23/11/2013 at 1:15 pm

Thank you for your feedback on this, Paul. Could you please email me at so I can try to get you in touch with someone to help you get the pieces you want? Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. ~Marie

  86. Felix Sola-Torres 19/11/2013 at 7:40 pm

I don’t go to Albertsons because of the Rachel Ray stamps. I go to my Albertsons in Helena, MT because of the customer service. Have any idea how cool it feels when the cashier(s) address me by my name and listen to how I am doing?
I eat fried chicken breast from the deli. At least 2X a week. At my store it’s always fresh and piping hot. I always get a can of jalapeno to eat with the chicken along with coleslaw and a piece of fruit. But I do all my shopping at Albertsons and the Rachel Ray dishes stamps is something I would be getting anyways. It’s like icing on the cake. I got a ton of them in a jar and I guess I’ll use them before they expire. Thanks Albertsons for the great service and for the Rachel Ray Stamps.

  88. Patti 21/11/2013 at 12:26 pm

Wow! A lot of people are angry about getting something for free. Anyways, do you have an affiliate store in San Francisco? I would like to send the stamps to my daughter to redeem. It would be easier than redeeming the stamps and sending her the dishes. Thank you

    • Customer Care 23/11/2013 at 1:16 pm

I’m glad you’re enjoying the promotion, Patti! It sounds like you’re doing something very nice for your daughter. Unfortunately, we don’t have any affiliate stores in the San Francisco area. Thanks for your question and for shopping at Albertsons! ~Marie

  89. Sandy Garnett 23/11/2013 at 2:38 pm

Could you please email me the safety/health information about the Rachel Ray dishes? I just filled a card and received 6 plates and then realized that they are made in China, which is a concern of mine re: lead and unwanted chemicals. Tnanks!

    • Customer Care 03/12/2013 at 6:55 pm

Thanks for your question, Sandra. I’m going to have to do some research on this and get back to you. As soon as I have some more information I will let you know. Thanks for your patience while we work to find out this information. ~Casey

  90. Susan 23/11/2013 at 3:12 pm

Why does my NJ Acme display the Rachel Ray garbage bowl if you can’t redeem it with the stamps? Most shoppers have enough dinnerware already.

    • Customer Care 25/11/2013 at 3:21 am

Hey there, Susan. Thanks for sharing your feedback surrounding what dishes are available for the Rachael Ray promotion. I’ve shared your comments with our marketing team. Thanks for sharing! ~Cindy

  91. Ann Peters 25/11/2013 at 9:56 am

I live in the Chicago area and am saving stamps at Jewel. My niece who lives in California is savings stamp at Albertson’s for me. Can I use Albertson’s stamps for the Jewel promotion? Thanks.

    • Customer Care 30/11/2013 at 1:06 pm

Yes, you can, Ann! They are the same design throughout all of our Albertsons LLC and NAI stores. Enjoy! ~Marie

  92. Barb 26/11/2013 at 4:39 pm

I was drawn to the original display of the tall olive oil cruet and appetizer dish. Are these pieces still available?

    • Customer Care 27/11/2013 at 4:27 am

I’m not sure, Barb but I’d be happy to check for you. Which location did you see the display at? I look forward to hearing from you soon! ~Cindy

  93. Patti 27/11/2013 at 2:30 pm

Very disappointed have collected lots of stamps and went to get 2 bowls Rachel Ray products only to find out it is only the dinner ware that u get for free don’t care for them to plane wanted the mixing bowls but cashier said they don’t apply only dishes , asked me if I wanted the coffee cup ” yea right I don’t drink coffee ” will see what else I can get with useless stamps

    • Customer Care 30/11/2013 at 1:08 pm

I’m sorry for the disappointment, Patti. The stamps are for the dinnerware only and the companion pieces are only available for purchase (but you do earn stamps with that purchase!). I hope you find something you like. ~Marie

  94. Caroline 29/11/2013 at 11:04 am

I should have seen the red flag when I had to pick through the plates for some that weren’t chipped. I have used my plates once and despite being careful two out of six are already chipped. Too bad and a waste of time.

    • Customer Care 30/11/2013 at 1:14 pm

Wow, that’s not good, Caroline. I’m sorry to hear that your dishware is already damaged. You can return the items to your local Albertsons with the receipt for a replacement. ~Marie

  95. Bernadette 30/11/2013 at 5:02 pm

I just wanted to say that I like the Rachel Ray promotion. However, there needs to be a better way to earn the dishes. The stamps are very small and can easily be lost when given to the customer by the associate. Also, I had almost an entire card filled which is a thin piece of paper and have misplaced it. I spent almost 600 dollars at Acme and now I cannot even receive one item.

    • Customer Care 01/12/2013 at 1:35 am

Hello, Bernadette. Thank you for the suggestion. I will be sure your comments get to our Marketing and Promotions Teams for future promotions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we appreciate the feedback. We will do as much as we can to improve our customer’s experience. Thank you, again, for taking the time to contact us. ~Stephanie

  96. Diane 04/12/2013 at 6:29 pm

I filled up one card, and am almost done with my second. When the promotion started in September, i focused on shopping only at my Jewel store until December, for my big shopping. It costs $1200 in groceries to fill one card and i got 6 blue plates. I will get 6 blue bowls with the second card. I love promotions that offer you something because i normally spend at least 600/month in groceries. Im hoping they don’t chip easily.

  97. john 04/12/2013 at 6:53 pm

When does the promotion end in Shreveport

    • Customer Care 04/12/2013 at 9:29 pm

Great question, John. The sticker issuance ends on 12/26/13, and the redemption period ends on 1/7/14. Hope this helps! Have a great night! ~Cindy

  98. Joana 04/12/2013 at 11:37 pm

The dishes at my local Albertsons in San Diego, Ca. do not look like the dishes on the Albertsons website. i like the oval type dishes, can i get them with my stamps? the dishes at my store are round ) :

    • Customer Care 05/12/2013 at 2:36 pm

Thank you for your question, Joana. I apologize, but the oval dishes are not available with the promotion. You’ll only be able to redeem the circular dinnerware at your local store with your stamps. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week! ~Shasta

  99. Jennifer 05/12/2013 at 3:42 pm

Hello! I was one (!) stamp away from completing my card when my purse was stolen from our home on Thanksgiving morning, with the booklet in it. Bummer. I was going to get 6 red mugs for Christmas morning cocoa with the kiddos. Is there any way, to look at my prior sales at my Albertsons to get past purchases re-applied? I was so looking forward to using them, and enjoying the little reward.

    • Customer Care 07/12/2013 at 3:50 pm

I’m really sorry to hear that your purse was stolen, Jennifer. That’s terrible! Unfortunately, we cannot replace stamps that have been lost or stolen. I wish you the best of luck in getting your purse back and I hope the rest of your holiday gets better. ~Marie

  100. Jerry 06/12/2013 at 2:21 pm

Free stuff is always good but the cookware was terrific, maybe you could bring them back.

    • Customer Care 07/12/2013 at 3:52 pm

Thanks for letting us know that you liked the cookware, Jerry. I’ve let our Marketing Team know about your preference so we can consider doing the cookware again in the future. Have a great day! ~Marie

  101. Lori 07/12/2013 at 1:51 am

Don’t know if someone has asked this question as I didn’t have time to read all posts but, where it says free item, is it like a free space or do you have to sticker that space as well?

    • Customer Care 07/12/2013 at 3:54 pm

It’s a space to let you know that you’ve earned your free dish, Lori. You’ll still need to put a stamp over it to get your dish. Thanks for your great question and enjoy the promotion! ~Marie

  102. Drew Troxell 11/12/2013 at 1:56 pm

I got some stamps in the mail from my mother. However, there is no Albertsons in my area (94519). Are there any other stores (ie. Lucky) able to honor this promotion? Or an online/mail option? Or is it in store only?

    • Customer Care 15/12/2013 at 11:02 am

Unfortunately, Drew, we have no affiliate stores in your area. The Lucky stores in your area are not owned by us. Also, the stamps must be redeemed in store only. Sorry about that. I hope you have a good week. ~Marie

  103. Kellye 13/12/2013 at 1:26 pm

I just would like to say a positive note on this Give away, with so many negative. I was told right away about the stamps, I never got less than I was suppose to, I actually got more sometimes. I have already got 2 dinner plates and 2 bowls and I’m working on the salad plates. I’m very happy. I just want to shout out to my neighborhood Albertsons in Santa Ana, Ca. (17th & Tustin Ave) This store has the best helpful employees anywhere.
    Thanks for listening.

    • Customer Care 15/12/2013 at 11:23 am

I’m glad you’re enjoying the promotion, Kellye! Sounds like you got a lot of good pieces! More importantly, I’m glad you’re enjoying your shopping experiences at your local Albertsons! I have shared your shout out with the Store Director, Juan S., so he can make sure his associates get some recongition! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! ~Marie

  104. Eileen 13/12/2013 at 4:51 pm

Hi! When do these stamps expire? I have a bunch of the stamps that I just haven’t gotten around to redeem.

    • Customer Care 15/12/2013 at 11:37 am

Great question, Eilieen! The last day to earn stamps is 12/26/13, but the last day to redeem them is 1/7/14! I hope you get some nice pieces! ~Marie

  105. Janet 17/12/2013 at 11:37 am

Thank you for the dishware promotion. I have redeemed 2 booklets filled with stamps for 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates, and 4 bowls, and I love the red color.

One question: are these dishes microwave and/or oven safe?

Thank you so much – I love these promotions much more than the Monopoly game.

    • Customer Care 17/12/2013 at 6:13 pm

I’m really glad you’re enjoying our Rachael Ray Promotion! The red is gorgeous! To answer your question, the dinnerware is microwave safe. We were unable to confirm if it is oven safe, though, so it would probably be best to not use them in the oven. I hope this information helps! ~Marie

  106. Joyce Mason 17/12/2013 at 6:47 pm

Can I save my left over stamps for the next store promotion?

    • Customer Care 21/12/2013 at 2:26 pm

Sorry, Joyce, but after the end of the promotion on 1/7/14, the Rachael Ray Stamps will not be good for any other promotion. Thanks for participating and have a wonderful week! ~Marie

    • Customer Care 02/01/2014 at 5:03 pm

Great question, Joyce. As our promtions may change year to year, you wouldn’t be able to save your left over stamps for the next one. Thanks for asking, and have a wonderful day! ~Cindy

  107. isabel 17/12/2013 at 9:44 pm

i wanted the olive oil container…. is this part of the promotion how do i get one

    • Customer Care 18/12/2013 at 4:58 am

Hey there, Isabel. The olive oil container is considered to be one of the companion pieces, so it would need to be purchased separately. Have a great day, and thanks for posting! ~Cindy

  108. Joylynn 18/12/2013 at 5:44 pm

I want to cash in al my stamps, but I wanted to look at all my options online, before I went into the store. I can’t seem to find them on your page? Help!

    • Customer Care 21/12/2013 at 2:26 pm

Sorry, Joylynn, but I checked everywhere for a representative example of what the dishes look like, but I could not find one on our website anywhere. I can tell you that they are the solid-color, double-ridged style dinnerware and we have them available in red, orange, green and blue. I hope that helps and I hope you enjoy what you get! ~Marie

  109. Cindy 19/12/2013 at 11:56 am

I think that having to spend over 200 to earn 1 plate is crazy. I thought that I would be able to get the olive oil dispenser, or the serving dishes. What a disapointment.

    • Customer Care 20/12/2013 at 5:42 pm

Thanks for the feedback, Cindy. This program is about rewarding our customers for purchases that they’re going to make at our store for their regular shopping. Of course, these products are also available to purchase at retail price. Thanks again for stopping by! ~Zachary

  110. abey 20/12/2013 at 8:08 am

are these stamps interchangeable ? I have some from Albertsons and some from Acme ??

    • Customer Care 20/12/2013 at 5:48 pm

Hello, Abey. Yes, you may use your Albertsons stamps at ACME, and vice versa. Thanks for asking! ~Zachary

  111. Ramona 20/12/2013 at 2:24 pm

What if you are one stamp short of receiving the free item?

    • Customer Care 20/12/2013 at 5:53 pm

Hello, Ramona. Twenty stamps are required to earn a free piece of dinnerware. If you find yourself with nineteen, then you are only ten dollars in grocery purchases away! Thanks for stopping by! ~Zachary

  112. K 20/12/2013 at 9:52 pm

I’m not sure I understand the deadline. Here it says Dec. 26 but on the card it says Jan. 7, which is it?

    • Customer Care 21/12/2013 at 2:36 pm

Sorry for the confusion, K! The last day to earn stamps is Dec. 26, but the last day to redeem the stamps for dinnerware is Jan. 7. I hope that clears things up! ~Marie

  113. Dorothy 21/12/2013 at 3:51 am

I live in a small town in Washington state. The rules regarding ‘exclusions’ seem sort of silly (dairy does not count…including ice cream)…but once that’s explained, it’s actually the cashiers that get my sympathy, because they have to explain that a bazillion times. Evidence that the accessory pieces are not selling like hotcakes: today I saw that every single item that can’t be obtained for Free has been cut by a few dollars—at this particular store. Which probably annoys people who already paid full price, but it probably had to happen, to beat WalMart’s regular price for the same items , and perhaps unload that stock as people may buy them for Christmas gifts. I don’t know whether the china chips easier or if it just shows more because the glaze colors are deep….but I’ve seen chipped plates on the shelf. And manufacturing defects here and there. The display unit is made of CARDBOARD and is like an ‘end cap’ display, subject to being hit by shopping carts, and pieces are undoubtedly handled by kids, klutzes—Everybody. Simply put: examine each piece before redeeming the stamps—and out of consideration for employees: don’t wait ’til 11:45 pm on Jan. 7th to redeem a large batch of stamps and then whine that your favorite color is no longer available. Might also be a good idea to bring a Box and some padding material for transporting it, as well; when I brought home soup bowls, they fit wonderfully well in a bucket, with slight padding between each one.

  114. Dorothy 21/12/2013 at 4:01 am

PS: for many of us, it makes sense to at least pick up a few items color-compatible with dinnerware we already own. Or use items for Holiday giving: cookies, cocoa mix…it’s a season for Gratitude, no?

  115. CAROL SCOTT 21/12/2013 at 2:09 pm

The very same day that we had the crab issue we were told that the promo was not for anything but plates and cups. but they would sell us any of the other. I have saved enough stamps for 2 offers. The display at 1st. looked like you could purchase anything if you had enough stamps! that was the final straw as far as I am concerned we will spend the extra gas to drive to Walmart or Winco! you say you want to be competitive but your actions speak louder than words. And I am not the only one that feels this way!!! I am done!

    • Customer Care 21/12/2013 at 2:53 pm

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with the crab sale, Carol. I would like to share your concerns with the right people, so I need to know which city and state these two Albertsons were located. Also, I have shared your comments regarding the Rachael Ray promotion with our Marketing Team. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. ~Marie

  116. Evelyn 21/12/2013 at 2:36 pm

I just want to say I love the promotions that Albertson’s does. Last week-end I picked up a set for 6 in the Blue. The employees at the Albertson’s in Albuquerque were great! They let me keep the boxes that the dishes came in.

  117. Sam 21/12/2013 at 7:41 pm

I was so excited to participate in the Rachel Ray dishware. Also loved your pot and pan deal a few years ago. Back to the dishes. We have been using our plates for a couple of weeks and I am noticing scratches on them. Is there anyway to prevent this without putting something between each plate as you put them back in the cupboard?

    • Customer Care 24/12/2013 at 10:58 am

We’ve reached out to the Distributor, Sam, and we’ll provide you with information as soon as we receive it. Thanks for your patience! ~Shasta

    • Customer Care 31/12/2013 at 9:53 am

Sorry for the delay in our response, Sam, we were trying to get the best and most accurate information for you. Often times, darker dinnerware can scratch significantly from both knife scrapes and other metal utensil usage. Less of an issue, but still a possible cause, would be the marks are from the dishes being stacked upon one another. The only precaution for this would be to place something between the dishes to prevent this from happening, as you mentioned. If you’ve chosen a lighter color of dinnerware and the “scratches” are more of a gray mark from your utensils, you be able to be removed by using “Bon Ami” or try “Barkeeper’s Friend.” These products are designed for use with porcelain sinks, but could help in remove these gray marks. If you try these products, please try using them first on the back of a dish to gauge their effectiveness. Please keep in mind this will not work on scratches but only gray marks from the utensils. I hope this helps. Thank you for participating in our promotion and I hope you have a joyful new year! ~Kimberly

  118. Roxanne Samuels 21/12/2013 at 10:12 pm

Can we use the stickers in other parts of the country, for stores using the same program?
My niece lives in Chicago and we want to pool our stickers for her.

    • Customer Care 23/12/2013 at 1:57 pm

Hello there, Roxanne. Yes, stamps from Albertsons stores may be used at Jewel-Osco stores, and vice versa. Thanks for stopping by! ~Zachary

  119. ward 22/12/2013 at 6:09 pm

Thank you for my three free bright orange dinner plates! They will serve me and my friends and family well. Have a fabulous Holiday

  120. Sheri 23/12/2013 at 4:41 pm

I love the promotion! I just turned in my cards last night and got 11 items free. Just need a few more for a complete set of four. Thanks Albertsons!

  121. Colleen 24/12/2013 at 1:24 pm

I was wondering, can we bring the photo of the sticker book if we can’t bring the solid copy?

    • Customer Care 24/12/2013 at 3:29 pm

I’m sorry, Colleen, but you must bring in the physical sticker book to redeem your stamps. Thank you for your question and have a great holiday and new year! ~Marie

  122. Gail 24/12/2013 at 2:30 pm

Great Promotion! I was able to get 2 full dish sets for my kids for when they move out. And a few extra pieces! Wish the promotion lasted longer so I can get more!!!!

Sometimes they cashiers forget to give me the stamps but I just go back and get them the next time. They always sign or scratch the area when they give us the stamps so they know you cannot double-do!

  123. Terri 25/12/2013 at 7:23 pm

The red Rachael Ray dishes looked terrific on my Christmas tablecloth. I shop almost exclusively at Jewel; so I was able to get twelve pieces and chose to get 8 dinner plates and 4 of the bowls which I used as serving bowls, since they’re quite large. Salsa in one, sour cream in another, one with tomatoes and one with shredded lettuce and our fiesta was complete and colorful. Thanks for this promotion.

    • Customer Care 27/12/2013 at 7:38 am

Good Morning Terri. It sounds like quite the fiesta; red is a great color! I’m glad that the Rachael Ray Dinnerware worked out SO well for you and your family. Thank you for being such a dedicated shopper and a special thanks for the shout out and the praise. I hope you and your family have a great weekend!
      ~ Chris

  124. HeidiLehr 25/12/2013 at 9:51 pm

Can we still redeem the saver stamps after Dec 26th?

    • Customer Care 26/12/2013 at 4:18 pm

I’m sorry for my delayed response, HeidiLehr. Yes, the last day to redeem your stamps is on 1/7/14. Have fun! ~Shasta

  125. marco garcia 26/12/2013 at 6:17 am

another worthless gimmick by Albertson’s, just drop your prices and keep your dumb-ass Rachel Ray crap.

    • Customer Care 27/12/2013 at 10:34 pm

We welcome all customer feedback to our Promotions we are or have been running, Marco. If you could provide us with more details about the issues you had or have seen with this promotion, we would be more than happy to share your comments with the Promotions Team for future consideration. Thank you for taking time out of your day to contact us. ~Stephanie

  126. JoAnn 26/12/2013 at 1:48 pm

I had enough stamps to get 4 complete place settings but need 2 more where can I obtain cannot find on her web site ….were these made special for this promotion?

    • Customer Care 26/12/2013 at 4:19 pm

Thanks for posting, JoAnn! The Rachel Ray Dinnerware is a nationally recognized brand, so it’s available regardless of this promotion. Also, the dinnerware should be available for purchase at your local Albertsons, if not, let me know. ~Shasta

  127. CETC 27/12/2013 at 9:01 am

I have thirty one stamps and no booklet to put them on, the last cashier I asked said she thinks they were out! Does thirty one stamps get me anything? If not I would like to share these with other people that want stamps!
    Thank You
    Santa Fe, NM 87507

    • Customer Care 27/12/2013 at 5:33 pm

Hello, CETC! There are no pieces that are worth 31 stamps, but twenty of those stamps are good for one free piece of dinnerware! Thanks for posting! ~Zachary

  128. Tassie 27/12/2013 at 10:45 am

Ok – Here’s the deal — I have been collecting these stamps since the beginning of the promotion and was going to turn in all my stamps at the end of the promotion to see how many pieces I qualified for — went to my local Albertsons last night and they are out of
blue and red dishes and say they are not getting any more in?? How does that work?? So now everything that I have been saving for is a waste of time and money since I have been doing all my shopping at Albertsons to get the stamps — I was going to get 8 place settings – 2/sets in each color and now the only color available is orange and a little bit of green. When I asked if they would have all colors available at the end of the promotion — when everyone would more than likely be turning in their stamps — they said they would have plenty of all colors. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

    • Customer Care 27/12/2013 at 5:32 pm

I can certainly understand your frustration in this matter, Tassie. We are doing our best to ensure that all stores have available product on hand. Please email us at with your name and number, and we’ll forward your information to the store to contact you when your desired item is in. Have a great day! ~Zachary

  129. KRIS 27/12/2013 at 11:10 pm

I have been collecting stamps, but do not have a booklet to put them in. Can I just take the stamps in to redeem them OR do the stores have more of the booklets?

    • Customer Care 28/12/2013 at 8:12 am

Good Morning Kris! The stores DO have more stamp saving booklets for the Rachael Ray promotion; you can get another when you’re at your local Albertsons. Please speak to a cashier or the Customer Service desk. Thank you for the great question and Thanks for being a fan of Albertsons. Have a great weekend!
      ~ Chris

  130. Sammie 28/12/2013 at 4:21 pm

I’ve been saving these stamps forever and all I got were 6 free bowls. The only way I did that was by othes giving me their stamps. You guys have the most ridiculous promotions ever. Having to spend $200 in order to get a free item? Fire your promotional dept.

    • Customer Care 28/12/2013 at 5:17 pm

Thank you for your feedback about our Rachael Ray program, Sammie. This program is about rewarding our customers for purchases that they’re going to make at our store for their regular shopping. I have shared your thoughts with our Marketing Department. Thank you for shopping at Albertsons and have a great rest of your weekend. ~Marie

  131. Dorothy 28/12/2013 at 4:37 pm

I added a comment 3 months ago requesting a statement about lead and cadmium content in this dinnerware, and I am still waiting to receive it. China is well known for including lead in many products (even toys). Hopefully, you realize what a can of worms it would open for your company if the lead and cadmium levels are high. Hopefully, you also realize that the cost of a lead testing kit for home use is not something one can earn with stamps, and is an ‘extra’ not everyone wants to buy. I’ve been patient; I’d really appreciate a response indicating Care for the Customer, as my daughter and I (with a little help from Friends) have accumulated full sets of dishes (Blue). FYI: red and orange are often highly suspect. PLEASE respond…

  132. Sherry 28/12/2013 at 8:34 pm

I havebeen collecting the stamps and do you have to have a stamp on the free spot for it to be 20 or not. ????

    • Customer Care 29/12/2013 at 9:59 am

That is a great question, Sherry. You do have to have the “Free Spot” covered, so 20 stamps are required for a free item. I hope this helps! Have a great day! ~Kimberly

  133. Sherry 28/12/2013 at 8:39 pm

Also, I am glad they have extended it to January 7th, I might be able to get 4 bowls a set. It would be nice to be able to save for the other items on your next promotion, like the serving dishes. Just a thought.

    • Customer Care 29/12/2013 at 9:59 am

We’ll be sure to share your suggestions with our Marketing Team for future promotions, Sherry. Thanks for being a fan! ~Kimberly

  134. Joe 29/12/2013 at 11:34 am

While shopping at Albertsons #04150 on 12/24/13 (still during the promotion), the clerk told me that they ran out of stamps but to just bring the receipt in order to redeem for dinnerware. While going to redeem the stamps for the dinnerware on 12/28/13, we were told that was not the rule and that they were not going to honor both what the clerk said and the receipt. Please advise on how to proceed.

I’m sorry to hear that you were given two different results regarding the Rachael Ray Promotion, Joe. I have sent this matter to the Store Director, Valerie R., so she can review it. She will contact you at the email address you provided us by the end of the day, Monday. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I hope you have a wonderful New Year. ~Marie

We LOVED this promotion, for many reasons! We were able to get 14 free pieces. Please pass this and the following information along to whomever makes promotion decisions: First of all, we appreciated that the dinnerware complies with FDA cadmium and lead-free regulations and California Prop 65 requirements! We are from Newport Beach, California, but live in St. George, Utah, now, where it is difficult to find cadmium and lead-free dinnerware. I am happy that you also included mugs in the promotion. You did not raise your prices in order to give these items away for free, thus, we were truly being given something. We spent more money with you, due to shopping at Albertsons for everything, instead of shopping at a couple of different stores. Also, we wanted to let you know that Mike, the Store Director, and Steve, the Assistant Manager, and Chris and Gary in the Meat Department, are all great, and all go out of their way for customers! My husband and I do not have kids, so please continue to have promotions for us, not just for families. Lastly, I do not like the buy one get one free promotions, because I have noticed some of the prices are higher when you do this. Please let me know that you will pass all of this feedback on, to all of the appropriate people. Thank you!

    • Customer Care 30/12/2013 at 6:02 am

Good Morning, L.B. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the promotion, and that you were able to get so many free pieces! Please be assured that your wonderful, and appreciated feedback will be shared with our marketing team. In regards to your kudos for the Store Director, Assistant Manager, Chris, and Gary in the Meat department you can be assured that this will be also shared with the Director, so these hard working associates can receive the recognition they deserve. Thanks for sharing, and I hope you have a great Monday! ~Cindy

I live in the Chicago area and have been collecting stamps for the Rachel Ray dinnerware. I have a few full cards I would like to donate to a charity. Do you know who I would contact? I think they would need to redeem the cards soon as the promotion is almost over. Thank you!

    • Customer Care 31/12/2013 at 8:55 am

Any Rachael Ray Stamps do need to be redeemed by 1/7/13, Laura. We do not have a contact for donating the stamps themselves, but I’m sure if you redeem them prior to the end date you could donate the dinnerware afterward. Thanks for participating and I hope you have a wonderful new year. ~Kimberly

  137. Michelle 30/12/2013 at 3:46 pm

I think that dishes are nice, but they are way too expensive. I didn’t find out about it until later, and I collected enough for 3 pieces. I have a family of four, so I bought a plate for 6.00. It’s too much money for each piece. At least I have four plates, and I couldn’t get any bowls which I wanted to get for a match. I just wanted a set of matching dishes. I give up!

    • Customer Care 31/12/2013 at 9:07 am

I’m sorry to hear of your disappointment, Michelle. Please be assured that your concerns have been shared with our Marketing Team and we’ll be sure to keep your feedback in mind for future promotions. Thank you for being an Albertsons customer and I hope you have a great rest of your day. ~Kimberly

Can we still redeem our stamps for the dishes? If so, until when?

    • Customer Care 31/12/2013 at 9:08 am

That is a great question, Angie! You can still redeem your Rachael Ray Stamps, but they do need to be redeemed by 1/7/13. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for being an Albertsons fan! ~Kimberly

  139. lester 31/12/2013 at 12:17 pm

i have the plate set shown above on your website, and would like additional pieces. i have been only shopping albertons recently to collect stamps, but now that i go in to redeem them, the plate set instore is completely different than the one i have “one on website” how do i get the one shown here?

    • Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 12:25 pm

Sorry for the delay, Lester. Unfortunately, we are not offering the dishes that are white on the inside. We are only offering the solid “double-ridge” style dishes. Thank you for your question and have a great day! ~Marie

  140. Robin 01/01/2014 at 2:02 pm

I went to my Albertson’s store today and they have a limited supply of the dinnerware left. I have enough stamps for 12 pieces of the dinnerware. Am I now limited to the supply my store has on hand?

    • Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 12:26 pm

Sorry for the delay, Robin. More shipments should have gone to our stores before the end of the promotion on 1/7/14. If you were unable to get your dishes, please email us at and we’ll see if there’s anything more we can do for you. Thank you! ~Marie

  141. Holly 02/01/2014 at 12:06 am

I have enough stamps to get three items. I went to my local Albertsons to pick up my plates and all they had were a few cups left and that’s it. I drove to another one in the next town and they were completely out of ALL items. I drove to one more about 10 miles away and they were also out of everything! I’m really angry and frustrated about this because there is still 7 days left in this promo and the stores have been wiped clean of all plates, bowls, and cups. It’s really not fair. I wouldn’t have taken the time to collect all these stamps if I would have known in the end I wouldn’t have been able to get ANYTHING. How can I resolve this issue and get the plates I saved all these useless stamps for?

    • Customer Care 03/01/2014 at 7:33 pm

I’m sorry to hear that the stores you visited were out of the pieces you wanted, Holly. We are doing our best to ensure that all stores have available product on hand. Please email us at with your name, phone number and location of the store that is most convenient for you to visit, and we’ll forward your information to the store to contact you when your desired item is in. ~Zachary

Please keep going with the promotion, I need more plates. I always shop at alberston, for sure i will get at least 3 more sets. Love the Orange ones.
Murrieta scott rd. alberstons employees were great asking if i collected them.

    • Customer Care 03/01/2014 at 7:32 pm

It’s great to hear about how much you like the Rachael Ray promotion, Jen. While it is past the date where you can earn more stamps, remember that you can still redeem them through 1/7/14! Thanks for posting, and I hope you have a great day! ~Zachary

  144. Kim 02/01/2014 at 7:34 pm

Help! I have been to two Albertsons stores, and there aren’t enough of the dishes I need. I have collected free pieces along the way, but was hoping to purchase the rest of the set. Will the stores be receiving another delivery at this point?

Thank You for the great promotion.

    • Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 12:26 pm

I’m so excited i have over 200 stamps! i cant wait to go to the market today and collect all my stuff! thanks albertsons! i didnt have any difficulties or trouble. I’m really going to enjoy my new dishes!

  146. Rebecca 03/01/2014 at 9:29 pm

I am experiencing the same issue as “Holly” described yesterday. Today, I went to my local Albertsons in Long Beach, CA with the intention of getting my full set of dinnerware (2 of each of the 4 items in each of the 4 colors = 32 pieces) only to find that the store was completely out of several colors and pieces – i.e. no red bowls, no blue cups, no small orange plates, etc… Moreover, the very limited stock left on the shelf included many pieces that were chipped/damaged. I was informed that the store has no intention of ordering any more and that it looks like I will not be able to redeem my stamps, despite the fact that I went in the WEEK PRIOR to the redemption deadline. I have several full books of stamps to redeem which I have been saving for months.

I did as your customer service agent, Zachary advised Holly above and sent an email to with my store number/location and my contact information.

Thanks for considering my issue. I am a loyal Albertsons shopper – in the past this store has done me well with special orders – so I’m sure that there is a way to special order or pull-in the 32 pieces that I have been collecting for. I’m more than happy to wait a couple weeks to receive that special order.

    Happy New Year!

  147. Susan King 05/01/2014 at 12:45 am

I shop at the Albertsons in Central Point, Oregon and Ross St. Store in Medford, Oregon. They have both been great about ensuring I collected my RR stamps. I saved up and collected 9 new plates today! They are both great stores, And I shop there even without the promotion! Anyone who has a complaint should just be grateful they have groceries to feed their family and those in need!

  148. Rebecca 05/01/2014 at 12:50 pm

Following up on my January 3rd post: Yesterday I site-hopped 3 different stores in 3 neighboring cities (Long Beach, Lakewood, and Buena Park) and finished my set of dishes. Ironically, after I got home that evening, I received a call from Vickie at your Long Beach Spring Street store offering the entire set of 32-dishes that I was collecting. Apparently, she was alerted about my problems collecting the dishes I wanted… I wanted to thank you for making the effort and forwarding my concerns on to my local store, who in turn followed-through with great customer service.

  149. Leah 05/01/2014 at 6:51 pm

Can we still trade stamps for dinnerware or was the deadline to turn in, also the last day to collect, on Dec. 26th?

    • Customer Care 11/01/2014 at 7:06 pm

Hello, Leah. The last day to redeem your Rachael Ray stamps was on 1/7/14. ~Zachary

  150. Dorothy 05/01/2014 at 7:22 pm

My daughter got married recently, and I gave her all my stamps ’til she got what she wanted for her small apartment. I asked church friends to save them for me, setting up a can for folks to drop them into, and that yielded more than I would have expected; I have six of each piece, and three and a half ‘blocks’ of 20 stamps remaining to redeem. Chances are the half sheet won’t fill, but that’s OK. One older fellow would grin like a Cheshire cat when he pulled stamps out of his wallet. For that alone, it’s been Fun.

  151. Kathleen 06/01/2014 at 12:38 pm

Thank you for your Rachael Ray promotion! I was able to get my niece four sets of dishes for her first apartment at college.

  152. Geneva 06/01/2014 at 12:51 pm

I have been saving the Rachael Ray stamps and have over 170 stamps. I went to both of our local Albertson’s and they were completely out of the dishes. They had stated they would be receiveing a few in tomorrow evening but they would be going fast. I have to work 8-5 so I am worried I won’t make it in time to get them before they are gone. Is there any other way to redeem my stamps?

    • Customer Care 11/01/2014 at 7:07 pm

Hello, Geneva. The only way to redeem your stamps would be through one of our stores. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you further. ~Zachary

  153. ellen 06/01/2014 at 2:16 pm

Is there a way to purchase more of the Rachel Ray cookware after Jan. 7? Obviously, looking for the dinnerware that matches what Albertsons is “selling”. When I went online I found Rachel Ray dinnerware at Kohls and JCPenney, but it was different!

    • Customer Care 11/01/2014 at 7:07 pm

Hello there, Ellen. Should there be sufficient stock, you can certainly purchase those dinnerware pieces outside of the promotion. We reccomend speaking with your local store’s management to request that they continue to stock those pieces for you. ~Zachary

  154. Debbie 06/01/2014 at 5:05 pm

I was very disappointed to learn that I had to spend $20.00 to get one stamp. This seemed more than anyone should have to spend. There should have been a weekend where you would be giving out four tickets instead of one. Maybe more people would have done this promotion. Once Rachael Ware Dinner ends on Jan. 6th, what happens with the extra sets? Am I able to purchase any more at a later date? Please let me know.

    • Customer Care 11/01/2014 at 7:07 pm

That certainly doesn’t sound quite right, Debbie. For every $10 of eligible purchases you make, you earn one stamp. If you wish to purchase the Dinnerware after the promotion ends, you are more than welcome to do so, should they be in stock. If you feel like you did not receive all the stamps that you were due, please bring the receipts of your purchases to the customer service center of your store so that they may address that. ~Zachary

  155. Debbie 06/01/2014 at 5:09 pm

I wanted to correct my comment. I spent $200.00 to get one stamp instead of $20.00 for one stamp.

  156. Alex H 06/01/2014 at 10:22 pm

I’m actually quite disappointed with the promotion. Not so much the promotion itself but how uninformed the Jewel Osco employee that I dealt with.
My understanding is that if you fill up a card, you get an ADDITIONAL 6 free items in addition to the six you get for 120 stamps. After picking out my pieces, the employee told me that “No, this whole booklet is only for 6 items.” So I ended paying an additional $27.00. I don’t think she read it right. The store was #3407 and I redeemed on 1/6/14 at 8:30pm CST.

    • Customer Care 11/01/2014 at 7:08 pm

Hello there, Alex. Actually, the associate you spoke with was correct in this situation. Every 20 sticker spots equate to one piece of dinnerware, with the “Free Item” square indicating when you have earned one free piece. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused. ~Zachary

  157. Jeri 06/01/2014 at 11:04 pm

Had almost my whole card stamped but there’s barely anything left to choose from. No bowls and just a few salad plates at 2 different Albertsons. Since they said you can collect your items until Jan 7th, I assumed there would still be inventory to choose. Guess I was wrong….left empty handed. 🙁

    • Customer Care 11/01/2014 at 7:08 pm

I’m sorry to hear that you were not able to redeem your dinnerware stamps, Jeri. If you would email me at with your full name, phone number and location of your preferred store, I will send your information to that store so that they can contact you when they receive more stock. ~Zachary

  158. MARY 07/01/2014 at 11:51 am

I went to the store yesterday to get the dishes and was told that they only have a few left. I also called 2 other stores and was told the same thing. I have enough stamps for 6 dinner plates and 6 bowls. Is there another way to turn in the stamps other than going to an Albertsons store? This is very frustrating that the stores ran out before everyone could get their rewards.

  159. Serena 07/01/2014 at 5:50 pm

Due to the snow storms &frigid weather in Chicago, it’s been difficult to get out the door. However, I knew the promotion was ending today, so I made the effort to drive to the local Jewel Osco. While I really wanted to get 4 red bowls, I was willing to settle for whatever was in stock. When I got to our store, they had absolutely nothing available. I was very disappointed and when I got home I called 2 other nearby stores. Same story. Nothing in stock. Any chance you will be getting additional shipments?

    • Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 12:44 pm

I am so disappointed. I specifically shopped at Albertsons this fall to collect the stamps for my daughter, who will be moving out soon. Once my friends found out, they started saving them for her as well. Unfortunately when she went to redeem all of them, they were all out, even thought it was in the time frame stated to redeem. She was very disappointed as well. What a waste of time for me and my friends since it was not as convenient as other stores.

  162. Ruth 07/01/2014 at 10:07 pm

Went to redeem and our store was out of dinnerware. 2nd promotion in a row that this happened to me. I asked if I could get some kind of credit and basically told to bad it’s only while supplies last. With 3 kids I spend a “minimum” of 150 – 200 dollars a week at Albertsons which comes out to 8-10 thousand dollars a year. I’m done with the “too bad” attitude. Not another dime will Albertson’s ever get out of me.

Hi! I saved, and saved and saved Stamps for Rachael Ray Dinnerware to give to my 20 year old daughter who will be moving to her own starter home (yeah).
On 12/30/2013, the two of us went to ACME to retrieve 9 (nine) dinnerware pieces. The very kind cashier found a box to place them in, wrapped each piece individually in newspaper. When we proudly showed them to friends and family, we found several pieces broken and therefore unusable. At age 53 I am in a constant learning mode. Once again the message I learned is that NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE! If I watch Rachael’s show again, it will be through a new set of eyes. Thanks for listening.

Algonquin IL and Crystal Lake IL both ran out of dishes on 1/7/2014 and they stated that they couldn’t promise if they would be getting more dishes in to meet the redemption. Each took the names and numbers of individuals (and there were a LOT of frustrated people). We are left without fulfillment of Osco’s promise to redeem stamps that were ‘earned’ by shopping at Jewel. I’m waiting to hear from Jewel — but, I seriously doubt that I would shop at Jewel Osco again after this — false advertising. Is Albertson going to honor this campaign????

After saving stamps for the entire promotion I went to albertsons yesterday the 7th to finally cash in all those stamps I collected. What a disappointment no dinner plates left. I saved up all those stamps to get dinner plates and not a one to be had. Checked several other Albertsons all out there to. Why is the stock so limited? Won’t waste my time doing this again.

I thought we had till 1/9/14 to redeem stamps! I have been saving the entire promotion and was out of town for holidays. multiple places on web said the 9th. Will they still redeem if they have dishes left?

    • Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 2:39 pm

The last day to redeem stamps for dinnerware was 1/7/14, Doris. It would be up to the store to take the stamps after that day. Thank you for shopping at Albertsons and I hope you enjoyed the promotion! ~Marie

  169. Mariana 09/01/2014 at 9:56 am

I saved enough stamps to get three items. I thought I could redeem through this week; but when I got to the store, I saw signs posted as reminders that the last day was Tuesday, January 7th. The store still had the plates that I wanted, so I just grabbed them and went to the check out. The lady said for me to hold on a minute. She came back with a manager who informed me that it ended yesterday, and he would not honor my stamps for the plates. I was really surprised. I had previously experienced good customer service at Albertsons. I admit that it is partly my fault. I should have remembered the exact date. I had actually shopped on the last day to earn, December 26th, to make sure I had enough stamps. I should have turned them in on that day, but I figured I could just turn them on my next visit. I was really disappointed that even though the store had the dishes on stock, they would not extend the deadline for one day to give out three more dishes. In the future, I will not be shopping at Albertsons.

    • Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 2:46 pm

I’m sorry for your disappointment, Mariana. The last day to redeem stamps was 1/7/14 and any exceptions would be at Store Manager’s discretion. Thank you for participating and I hope you have a good week. ~Marie

  171. Aaron Stokes 10/01/2014 at 9:13 pm

Me and my wife collected more then a books worth of stamps and none of the stores in the eugene oregon area had much stock left at all. We asked if they were getting more before the deadline was extended and we couldn’t get a straight answer. Is there any way we can collect on these through or something?

    • Customer Care 12/01/2014 at 3:50 pm

Hey Aaron, the Rachael Ray Dinnerware promotion was extended to 1/13/14 for the stores in your area. You should still be able to get your dinnerware. Thank you for shopping at Albertsons and have a great day! ~Marie

  172. Samuel Holmquist 11/01/2014 at 5:31 pm

I was not able to redeem my full 2 booklets of stamps because my local albertsons ran out of all of the dishes. They informed me I could come back today and get the ones they got from a new shipment. I went in again today and they were already sold out again. What can corporate tell me or do for me about this problem? I do not believe I should have to go hunt around for the dishes that I want, and all the Albertsons that I have called around my area say that the promotion is now over and won’t honor the stamps. Please email me a formal reply. Thanks. If this is not resolved I will never be shopping with Albertsons again.

I went to my Jewel Osco in Chicago at 3531 N. Broadway, Chicago 60657 on January 7 to redeem my Rachel Ray stamps. There was no stock, but the customer service person took my name and the pieces I wanted. I was able to redeem the stamps for 3 of the 5 requested pieces on January 19. I still want 2 blue bowls, if possible, but there doesn’t seem to be much hope. Please help. Thank you.

    • Customer Care 25/01/2014 at 2:08 pm

Thank you for posting, Sheryl. Since Jewel-Osco is owned and operated by New Albertsons, Inc. they may be handling the Rachael Ray promotion differently. I ask that you please post on Jewel-Osco’s blog to receive the best assistance. Thank you! ~Marie

I think these dishes are very pretty, but I am so very disappointed in the quality! Already have 4 plates/bowls that have chipped with normal use. I know they’re “stoneware”….but geez….come on! I’ve had dishes last more than 10 years with everyday use and still look decent.

I am so disappointed with the dinnerware. I purchased 4 red dinner plates at the beginning of January and three of them are chipped already. It’s only my husband and me at home and I have another set of dishes that I have had for 8 years and not a chip out of them.

  189. Nicole 26/02/2014 at 4:32 pm

  194. Christina 19/06/2014 at 4:00 pm

HI..I broke two pieces in my complete set for 12 (the cereal bowl and the soup bowl) How do I buy replacement pieces? The Rachel Ray store does not have this pattern.

  195. Lisa Campbell 14/09/2014 at 3:53 pm

My store has this promotion for Cuisinart pots and pans. However, the cashiers can’t add. My husband went grocery shopping today he spent $89. The cashier gave him 4 stamps vice 8 stamps. You get one stamp for every $10 you spend. I called the store and got put on terminal hold. Now, I have to go back down there for 4 stamps. RIDICULOUS! Should have been correct the first time.

    • Customer Care 15/09/2014 at 3:58 am

Sorry to hear you did not get all the stamps, Lisa. Please be aware stickers earned exclude the purchase of gift cards, pre-paid phone cards, pre-paid Master Cards, Tracphones, Tracphone equipment, tobacco, postage stamps, and other products excluded by law). If you feel all the items purchase should qualify towards the promotion, please return to the store to seek assistance with getting the correct amount of stamps. ~Victor

  196. Rose Alexander 06/10/2014 at 7:20 pm

I got two stamps today and was like, what is this? Its really weird that you give the stamps out without really giving any information about them. I came on here to look at what the rules where, and I think that people on this web site are correct that the stores are making mistakes, because my total purchase was $1.20 for water and I got 2 stamps, which according to your site I should have gotten 0 because my purchase was so small. It said two on the receipt too, so I don’t think it was a mistake by the cashier. Maybe you have a bug in your system that is jipping some people out of stamps and giving them to others?

Please don’t reply to this e-mail. I informing but do not desire feedback.

  197. Lili 01/12/2014 at 4:35 pm

Where is the catalog which actually shows if you have 50 stamp you get the steel pot, etc.

    Is it online?

  198. Chris 20/09/2016 at 11:08 am

  199. Sheri Henningsen 06/11/2016 at 2:46 pm

I got the redish Double RIdge plates from this promotion and love them. I’d like to add to the set, but I’m not sure what the plates were called (as far as color). Does anyone know?
