Garlic & Wine Steamed Clams
Garlic & Wine Steamed Clams make for an amazing appetizer or a delicious dinner! For apps, plan on serving a half pound of clams per person and for the main dish, plan for a pound per person.

- 3 Tbs unsalted sweet cream butter
- 2 lbs clams (cleaned and rinsed)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 3 sprigs (fresh thyme)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
Over medium heat, melt butter in a large covered sauté plan. Add garlic and thyme and cook 30 seconds to 1 minute, until fragrant. Add wine and bring to a boil. Steam 5-7 minutes until clams are opened. Discard any clams that do not open.
