Cooking Directions: Simply dissolve 1 tsp (2.4 g) Mama Sita's Annatto Powder in 1 tbsp (15 ml) water before adding to the dish being cooked. To Make Achuete/Achiote Oil: dissolve 1 tbsp (7 g) annatto powder in 1 tbsp (15 ml) cooking oil. To lighten the color, add more oil as necessary. This packet is equivalent to 1 cup (155 g annatto seeds or 1 bottle (8 fl oz or 240 ml) liquid Achuete.
