Directions
Cook thoroughly. Cooking Instructions: For food safety. Follow these cooking directions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary. These instructions are guidelines only. Keep frozen until ready to use. Promptly refrigerate leftovers. Stove top: Place frozen broccoli in 1/4 cup boiling water for every cup of broccoli. Bring to second boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer until tender (4-6 minutes). Season to taste and serve. Microwave: Place frozen broccoli in a covered microwave-safe dish. Add 2 tablespoons of water for every 8 oz. Microwave on high for 4-6 minutes. Stir after first 3-4 minutes. Season to taste and serve. Steaming: Cover bottom of steamer with water. Bring to boil. Place 1/2 to 2 cups (2 serving) frozen broccoli in top of steamer, cover and steam for 3-5 minutes. Stir after first 2-3 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
