About Ducktrap Gravlax Style Smoked Salmon: With over 30 years of experience, Ducktrap has mastered the art of smoking seafood. To produce Ducktrap Gravlax Style smoked salmon, premium Atlantic salmon fillets are brined in a flavorful recipe of salt, evaporated cane juice, herbs and spices and then slowly cold smoked with a unique blend of Maine fruitwoods and hardwoods. Each smoked fillet is topped with a hand applied spice mixture, creating the delicious dill and citrus flavor. No artificial preservatives or ingredients are ever used. Astaxanthin: The carotenoids (nutrients in the same family as vitamin A) used in the feed of farm-raised salmon are identical to the natural carotenoids consumed by salmon and trout in the wild and are the source of the natural color of these fish. No dyes are used. Naturally smoked in Maine.

Directions Keep refrigerated at 38 degrees F (3 degrees C) or less. Use within four days of opening. Suggestions for Serving: Enjoy Ducktrap Gravlax Style Smoked Salmon throughout the day. For breakfast reinvent eggs benedict by substituting smoked salmon for ham. Pair smoked salmon with Ducktrap's mustard dill sauce for a delicious lunch wrap. Smoked salmon wrapped asparagus is a healthy yet elegant appetizer. For a delicious heart healthy dinner serve brown rice tossed with smoked salmon and roasted vegetables. Estimate 2 to 3 slices per person for an appetizer and 4 to 5 slices per person for a main source. To maximize the flavor, remove from refrigeration and allow the desired portion to remain at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. Proper Storage: Ducktrap smoked salmon has been carefully sealed in a vacuum package. Because we use no artificial preservatives, our smoked salmon needs to be kept refrigerated at 38 degrees F or less when not being served. It is best stored unopened
