Directions
Cooking Instructions: Note: For drier rice, remove 1/4 cup water. For moister rice, add 1/4 cup more water. On the Stove: 1. In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup Golden Star Brown Jasmine Rice to 2-1/2 cups water. 2. Cover with a tight fitting lid and bring to a full boil. Do not uncover while cooking. 3. Lower heat to simmer Brown Jasmine rice for 45 minutes, stirring once. 4. Remove from heat and let saucepan cool for 5 minutes, then fluff rice with fork and serve. In the Microwave: In a microwave bowl, add 1 cup Golden Star Brown Jasmine rice to 3-1/2 cups water. Microwave the Jasmine Rice, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Fluff rice with fork and serve.
