Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. For Food Safety, Follow These Cooking Instructions: Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F or higher as verified with a certified meat thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Conventional Oven Preparation: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Remove beef from packaging and place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Grill Preparation: Preheat grill (approximately 400-450 degrees F). Remove beef from packaging and place on hot grill, turning on all sides during cooking to brown evenly. General Cooking Instructions: Cook beef steak to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F or higher for medium rare or higher for desired degree of doneness. Monitor internal temperature with a meat thermometer in the center of the thickest part of the steak. Remove beef from oven or grill, cover and let meat rest at least 5 minutes before slicing. Always slice meat against the grain, not with the grain. Perishable previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated. Cook thoroughly.
