Stove Top: Place desired amount of frozen Brussels sprouts in 1-1/2 cups of boiling water. Salt, if desired. Cover, place on high heat, and bring to a rapid boil, separating with a fork to speed thawing. Stir, reduce heat, and simmer, covered, until Brussels sprouts are tender, approximately 7 to 9 minutes. Drain and season to taste. Microwave: Place frozen Brussels sprouts and 2/3 cup of water in a 1-quart casserole dish. Cover and microwave on high for 6 to 8 minutes stirring once halfway through cooking. Season to taste, stir, and cover; allow to stand a few minutes before serving. Drain water if necessary. How to cook ‘em. Do not thaw and refreeze. Caution: Product and container may be hot. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary. Do not microwave in bag. For food safety, cook to a temperature of 165 F degrees. Keep frozen until ready to cook.
