Makes about 24 sopaipillas.
Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Niacin, Iron [Reduced], Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Malted Barley Flour, Soybean Oil, Baking Powder (Sodium Acid Pyro-Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Cornstarch, Monocalcium Phosphate, Calcium Sulfate), Salt.
Directions Add warm water to make soft dough, but not sticky. Knead well, let stand for at least 5 minutes. Roll dough about 1/8-in thick and cut into 3-inch squares. Fry in deep fat (hot) until brown - drain. Best results are obtained from a cast iron skillet and fat must be hot.
