Directions
Keep frozen. Conventional Cooking: 1. For 1/2 bag: Place frozen Oriental Blend and 1/4 cup water into a 1 quart saucepan. For full bag: Place frozen Oriental Blend and 1/3 cup water into a 2 quart saucepan. 2. Cover, place on High heat and bring to a rapid boil. 3. Stir, reduce heat and simmer, covered, until vegetables are tender-crisp, 4-5 minutes. 4. Drain, season to taste and serve. Microwave Cooking: 1. Pour desired quantity of frozen Oriental Blend with water, into a casserole dish, following the directions in the chart. 1 Serving = 3.3 oz, in 1 pt casserole, add 1 tbsp water, cook 2 - 2 1/2 min; 3 serving = 10 oz, in 1 qt casserole, add 1 tbsp water, cook 4 - 4 1/2 min; 5 servings = 16 oz, in 1 1/2 qt casserole, add 2 tbsp water, cook 7 - 8 min. 2. Cover and cook the recommended time, stirring once about midway through the cooking period. 3. Season to taste, stir, cover, and allow to stand a few minutes before serving. Times may vary from one microwave to another.
