Directions Authentic Asian Rice Recipe (Serves 6) (1-1/2 cups of cooked rice per serving): 1. 3 cups rice. Put 3 cups of rice in 2 qt. pan. Wash and drain 1-2 times. 2. 4 cups water. Add 4 cups of water. (For dryer rice, add less water). 3. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil 1 minute on medium high heat. 4. Cover pan and turn to low heat; simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat and serve. For perfect rice every time, Niko Niko and Sun Luck recommend using an automatic rice cooker.
