San Francisco Bay Coffee Gourmet Whole Bean Colombian Supremo - 32 Oz
Coffee, Premium Gourmet, Whole Bean, Columbian Supremo
100% prime arabica beans. Roaster fresh. Vacuum sealed. The coffee that takes no shortcuts. Most roasters just phone a broker to order beans. Our family-owned company is way too particular for that! Instead, we spend 3 months each year visiting remote mountain plantations in the world's prized coffee regions. Sometimes the going is rough, but it's worth it! Here, we work with the few remaining Arabica bean growers who still plant superior crops to yield more intense flavors, not simply more beans. We've gladly maintained these exceptional farms so that the art of cultivating true gourmet coffees will not be lost. Over time, we've established the highest standards of responsible farming and fair employment, and funded social programs to support community healthcare and education. Our rewards are many. Your reward is the richest gourmet coffee you've ever tasted (at a broker-free price!) And that's not a promise. It's a guarantee! The truth about roasting. There are over 740 identified f
Directions Storing and Grinding: Coffee stays freshest in an airtight container. Our package tightly rolled and secured with a rubber band, will do the trick. If you're storing for over two weeks, the freezer is a good place to store your beans. It's best to grind your beans just before you use them. Most home blade grinders give a good grind in 9 to 14 seconds. (Note: Bitter tasting coffee was ground too fine. Weak coffee was ground too coarse.) Brewing your Coffee: Use 1 to 2 tablespoons per cup and adjust to taste. Brew using fresh, cold water. The water should be heated to just below boiling for perfect extraction. Coffee makers as well as vacuum and espresso systems work best. Percolating does not brew as well. For optimum results, serve within half an hour of brewing. For keeping longer periods, try storing in a thermos or insulated container.
