Directions
1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2-1/2 cups of water to a boil. Add contents of rice packet and 2 tablespoons of Goya Olive Oil, Corn Oil or butter. Stir. 2. Boil for 1 minute, cover tightly, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 3 minutes or until water is absorbed. 3. Stir rice and serve. Makes 5(1/2 cup) servings. Some Great Goya Ideas for Dinner! Creole Red Beans and Rice. In a skillet or saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of Goya Olive Oil. Add 1 lb of smoked sausage, 1/2 cup each of onions and peppers and 2-3 cloves of garlic; saute 5-7 minutes or until nicely browned. Add 2 cups water and 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning, bring to a boil. Add contents of rice packet, stir, cover tightly. Reduce heat and simmer, cook 25 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
