Directions Just add water! Decide how many you want. 2-3 Waffles: 1-1/2 cups mix. 1 cup water. 5-6 Waffles: 3-1/4 cups mix. 2 cups water. Get ready coat that waffle iron with a little no-stick cooking spray. Then turn up theh eat to medium-high. You know your iron is ready when the drops of water sizzle and disappear. Your waffles will stick if the iron is too cool or brown too quickly if it is too hot. Mix your waffle mix and water in a bowl. Mix it until it's silky smooth, you don't want any lumps. Toss those ingredients into bowl and stir it all up with a whisk or spoon just until lumps are gone. Pour on a little less than 3/4 cup batter onto your hot waffle iron, then close it up tight. Cook'em up 3 to 4 minuets they're golden brown. Now you're ready for waffles! Waffles with a twist. Chocolate Chip Waffles: Ready your waffle batter according to the package directions, just using 1-1/2 cups mix and 1 cup water. Mix in 1/2 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips. Bake as directed. Top each of your waffles with 1/2 cup hot fudge topping, 1/2 cup sliced strawberries and as much whipped cream as you'd like. Makes 4 servings.
